I stood in the darkness of my house.
I knew going to that party was a bad idea but no, I had to go
Dimwit!
I sighed and walked upstairs to my bedroom
Taking my sweats and Harry potter tees, I showered quickly and changed before tying my hair in a bun
I ran to my bed and jumped on my bed before staring at the ceiling and rethinking my day
Who knew my happy go exhausting day would end up like this?
The more I thought about his confession and my reaction, the more I feel guilty
It's like I overreacted but you can't blame a girl for trying to protect her heart!
I was known as ice queen for a reason!
And here he walks around thinking he can break past all the walls of mine
"Hmmpptt I did what I thought was best! What's my fault if it backfired?" I muttered to myself as I changed positions on the bed
I clung to my large pillow, my arms around it and one of my legs over it as I lay there thinking
My mind wondered off to the thoughts of him again and I felt angry
Angry, confused and frustrated
Was what he said true?
Did he seriously like me?
But wait, he also said the same, only to break my naive heart into thousands of parts. I could calculate parts per million with it!
I sighed and turned to the other side in my bed
Whatever Kayan said played in my mind all the while before sleep consumed me

The following morning, I got a message from Mr. Caleb saying he wishes to continue the meeting interrupted yesterday, today and another call from Aiyla saying she wants to video chat
I set cross legged on my well made bed with my iPad
"As salaam girlie girl!!!" She squealed at me and I smiled at her
"Was salaam" I said and she grinned
"Guess what?!?" She squealed
"What?" I asked her smiling
"My wedding dates are fixed!!!! It's in Fiji!" She yelled and I stared at her

"When is it?" I asked her
"June"
"Where is it?" I asked her
"We will be leaving for Fiji in May so then we will finalise and let you know and btw, you have to be there for the whole two months!!" She said and I chuckled
"Sure" I muttered and she frowned
"What's wrong?" She asked me and I shrugged
"Come on, Myrah! What's wrong?" She asked me, concern lacing her voice
