Picnic

Today was the day. Im going on a picnic with Adrein Agreste along with my child. No big deal then why am I freaking out. Okay deep breaths deep breaths. Not need to stress out its just another normal day okay keep calm .Emma was still asleep so I took a shower and wore black heels, Blue Jeans and purple sleeveless shirt with my hair in a ponytail. Emma was still sleeping so I ran her a bath and got a cute outfit she could wear. After that I quietly woke her up

"Emma Emma get up "no respond "Emma come on"Nothing"Did I forget to mention that we're going to the park "That's when she shoot out of bed

"Realky when can we go no plesea say now "I giggled and her cuteness. Emma really loves the park I don't think you need a second opinion on that

"Go wash up I ran a bath for you then get dressed THEN we can go okay sunshine "

"Yes mommy "She quickly ran in to get bath and I ran down stairs. Adrein said he would bring the food so I actually got bored

25 minutes later

Emma had finished getting dressed and the door bell rang Just on time

"Come on Emma it's time to go "she smiled and skipped all the way to the door .I opened it reviling a blond green eyed man

"Ready to go "

The park
"Oh Adrein I love the park don't you "Said Emma as Marinette prepared the blanket

"I love the park too Emma it's really nice "

Once Marinette finished both green eyes came sitting on the blanket, under a rose blossom tree in the shade. Adrein handed Emma a cupcake which she gladly took with a thank you .His eyes then looked over to Marinette. She was clearly lost in thought and had a smidge of frosting on her cheek which caused Adrein to chuckle

"What's so funny "This time she wasn't angry........ For now

"You a little frosting on you right cheek "He said seeing her trying to remove it from her face but failed everytime

"Where!? "He chuckled and took his thumb and whipped it off

"There"He smiled the famous, loving, mesmerizing Agreste smile .Marinette only blushed in response

"T Thanks

"Adrein can we play a game? "asked Emma

"Sure what did you have in mind "

"Tag "

"Okay Emma but just to worn you I am super fast so you wouldn't be able to catch me "The 5 year old pocked him

"Tag your it "And started running off Adrein chasing behind. Marinette smile at the sight. It was a sight she wished she could see often. A Daily Dose of laughter and giggles and games but she knew things would not work out so quickly. Life was complicated at the time and Marinette was still not ready. No matter how much she wanted it to be thing wouldn't just go back to the way they were .Not so easily

"Mama look at me. Im running so fast "Emma yelled passing her mother .Its a surprise Adrein still didn't catch her

"That's great Emma "She shouted back. Adrein came in taking a quick break. His arms were on his knees and was pleading for air. This view made Marinette giggle "Need any help "He nodded yes in an instant. Marinette giggled once more and got up. Soon the two started chasing after her but they still could not catch her

"Okay Emma mommy is tried I think we should take a break and Adrein agrees with me right? "The girls looked at Adrein to see him on the blanket out of breath

"I see what you mean "Emma smiled. She hopped to the blanket and laid down all three of them looking at the sky

"Emma look. That cloud looks like a cat "Adrien said pointing to one of the floating fluffy clouds

"It does and that one looks like a heart "She pointed to a cloud too

"Yhea I like cats. They are my favorite animal "Adrein said

"Me too but mommy wouldn't let me have one "Emma whined

"Well mommy is no fun "Adrien said

"And mommy is sitting right next to you remember "Marinette cut off glaring at the blond "Your lucky Im tried and besides ladybugs are more cooler then cats"

"Are not "Adrein protested

"Are too and Emna agrees with me. Right Emma "no response "Emma "They both looked down at each other to see that she had already fallen asleep. "We should get going "

"Yhea but cats are still cooler "Mari just rolled her eyes playfully

"Okay okay cats are cooler can we go now "

"Fine "

Marinette's house

They got out of the car and walked towards the door. Adrein holding the door out for them. What a gentleman

"Thank you for today Adrein. It was really fun "Marinette smiled carrying a sleeping Emma "Emma would say the same if she was awake "She giggled

"It's my pleasure Marinette and I should be thanking you. For letting me spend time with my daughter for once. Thank you "He smiled and so did she. It was highschool crushes all over again "I should get going. It's getting late "He said

"Of course but it's Emma's birthday tomorrow and I was hoping maybe you might wanna come "

"I would love to. See you tomorrow "

She closed the door and sighed dreamly. Looking down at her sleeping princess a big smile grown across her face. Today was perfect just perfect
