I put my head on my desk. I rang the bell only God remembers how many times. These kids... they don't know the meaning of "Be quiet". All I did was stare at the chaotic classroom and the anger inside built up quickly. Allance, a rowdy boy in the class stood on the desk and yelled out over everyone (somehow),"SHUT UP OR I'LL JUMP!"
All that anger was being pressured down by me, and it's about to end up being a volcano of Rage. I stood up, slammed my hands on the table loudly and snatched the air horn off the shelf. "One more word... and I will blow this horn..." I glared at the class. My patience level for 6th Grade hasn't been any lower. And these kids don't deserve for me to bring it back up.
"Word..." Allance sat down and mumbled, thinking that I couldn't hear him. I grabbed the air horn, pointed at the class's direction, and blew it as loud as I could. Everyone jumped in their desks and I slammed the air horn down.
"I wasn't lying or joking. Everyone, do your work NOW. Last time I checked, I was teaching a SIXTH GRADE class. Not some kindergarteners. Get to work." I mumbled angrily. My head felt as if it was burning from all the anger that I poured out slowly. I sat down, and calmed down. I turned my computer on and got back to MY work.
People say patience is key, but I feel as if my key was lost.
