"And that concludes our story for today, moving onto the weather." The reporter on tv calmly explained to the viewers, as always. It was never any different after she graduated, but here she was, the same place she was a year ago.

"I need to move out." She mumbled, seeing it would be sunny today. She slumped further down into the couch, her long turquoise hair bunching up where she was moments ago. Her blue eyes practically glued to the screen.

She yawned and figured breakfast would be a swell idea. She slowly, yet surely, slid off of the couch. Her gray t-shirt barely covering her panties. She stared into her cupboards, groaning. It didn't take her long for the eggs to cook, or the toast to pop up. An hour later and Miku was back at square one, watching a children's show this time.

Her phone buzzed on the coffee table in front of the couch, she looked at the caller ID, "Teto Kasane" it read in bright magenta. She answered it, "Mmmlo?"

"MIKU! Usually you don't answer this early in the morning."

          "What d'you want?"

"I figured we could go out for lunch today." Teto said it in such a way that Miku got a little suspicious.

"Alright, I suppose. When'll you be ready?"

"An hour, see you then!" Teto hung up. One hour! Teto was crazy, Miku can't get ready that fast. She turned off the tv and ran upstairs, accidentally waking her mom in the rush. She tried to pick out something nice to wear, but couldn't find anything other than a gray, sleeveless button up, and a black skirt.

A shower later, Miku was ready to go. Or so she thought, "Miku." Her mother sternly spoke from the kitchen. Miku placed on a fake smile and nodded, "You're not going on a date with your hair down like that. At least you could put it up in a pony tail."

Miku sighed and began to look for a scrunchy. She found two and now she has pigtails. The front door was being knocked on. Miku took a deep breath and opened the door, "Miku!" Suddenly, Miku was being crushed by her friend.

"H-h-hey, Teto, how it going." Miku wheezed.

Teto let go, "Sorry Miku, I'm just so excited!" Magenta hair pulled up into impossible twin drills, and soft red eyes are the main features of miss Teto Kasane. Today she was wearing a navy blue blouse and skinny jeans of a darker color.

          "So where are we headed?"

"Heheh, that's a secret." Teto grabbed Miku's hand and dragged her out of the house. It didn't take long for the girls to reach a small diner in the next town over.

"Why did we have to go to a different town for lunch?"

"Because, I have an ulterior motive for you. We are getting you a new house!" Miku's mouth dropped agape.

          "I would've moved out eventually!"

"Yeah, yeah, in like, ten years. Now come on, I have nine people waiting and all of them eager for a roommate." Miku cleared her throat and stood up straight, "Let's go."

They walked in and a waitress brought them into a special booth, "For special occasions." The waitress said. They got their drinks and waited politely. The first tenant walked in and didn't look too well. About an hour of ordering and talking, they only had one tenant left. Miku was exhausted, and Teto was stealing another bread stick.
