We are less than angels.
No, we are not angels at all –
we are soldiers of our own cause,
causers of the world's fall.
We are messengers,
but good messages we do not bear.
If we do not take action after words,
how can we claim to care?
The world is dying,
she is sucking in her last breath.
Each night we hear her crying,
but we will be the harbingers of her death.
Oh, forgive us, dear Father!
For what have we done?
We are less than Your angels –
We are humans on the run
