Chapter 1

Here's the 1st Chapter! 🌻

Beatriz's POV

"Isabel, please move faster. Hindi ka ba excited sa try out mo?" dad said

"Ofcourse dad, I'm excited. It's just that may naiisip lang po ako." i answered at kumain na ulit.

"Oh, what is it?" das asked

"U-uh, what if hindi ako natanggap?" i asked at yumuko.

What if nga di ako natanggap diba? I really want to try out in Ateneo. Mom and dad asked me na mag try out sa La Salle. Well, ang family ko ay La Sallian.

Pero mas pinili ko Ateneo, though fan ako ng Womens Volleyball Team ng La Salle.

"No sweetie. Believe in yourself, alright?"

I just nodded.

I finished eating lunch.

"Dad, alis na po ako." Pagpapaalam ko kay daddy.

"Okay! I'll just tell mom na nakaalis ka na. Good luck my princess! I know you can do it." dad said then he winked at me.

I kissed and hugged dad then i went to the car.

*fast forward

Ilang minutes pa ay finally, i'm here na sa Ateneo. To be specific, sa Blue Eagle Gym.

I entered BEG and I saw na marami rin palang nag t try out.

Umupo muna ako sa bleachers at nag antay ng tawag.

"Okay, good afternoon to all of you! I'm Alyssa Valdez, the team captian of the Ateneo Lady Eagles." pagpapakilala ni ate Alyssa sa kaniya.

Oh, sino ba hindi nakakakilala kay ate Alyssa? She's one of the best volleyball player here in our country. Kaya nga siya tinawag na Phenom eh.

"Yung mga ta try out, please come here then mag ready na kayo!" masayang sabi niya.

Minutes later, eh nagstart na kami.

Spike here, spike there. Ganon.

Ilang oras pa ay natapos na.

"Thank you sa inyong lahat! Please come here tomorrow for the results! Sa hindi matatanggap, still, congrats pa din kasi you did your best. And para sa matatanggap, Welcome to Ateneo Women's Volleyball Team! That's all! Have a nice day!" sabi ni Phenom

After that ay kinuha ko na yung bag ko but someone caught my attention.

May babaeng nakaupo dun sa gilid.

Bat hindi siya nag try out?

I looked and stared at her face. I like her nose tho. It's cute haha.

But mukha siyang malungkot. Nay something naman sa utak ko na go lapitan mo.

Nakatitig lang ako sa kaniya then i found myself walking towards her.

Nang makita niya ako ay agad siyang tumingala.

"U-uhhh, hi?" sabi ko at nagkamot ng ulo.

Kumunot ang noo niya but nagsmile na rin siya after.

Gosh. Her smile. She looks so beautiful. But then I saw her eyes. Parang malungkot na ewan? Hays nevermind.

"Hi" Tipid na bati niya

"Uhm, bat hindi ka nag try out? Hehe" Nahihiya kong tanong sakaniya

Napatawa naman siya ng mahina.

Her laugh! Okay Bea, stop.

"Nope eh haha. Natanggap na ako last year. Hindi lang ako sumali last year. So probably baka this season 77 ay 1st year ko na." Sabi niya

Nag nod lang ako then nag smile. I can't take this anymore. Ang cute niya po sobra.

"Ahh, s-sige ano, uhm una na ako ha?" sabi ko

"Sige bye" sabi niya then nag smile.

Tumakbo na ako pabalik at kinuha yung bag ko.

Napahawak naman ako sa dibdib ko. The fuck.  Ang lakas ng tibok. Pa check up na kaya ako?

Naglakad na ako and then I checked my phone at may 2 messages.

One is from dad and the other one is from mom.

Dad
Isabel, pinahatid ko yung car mo diyan sa ateneo. Mang Arthur can't fetch you there at may inutos lang ako. Good luck, princess. Daddy loves you.

Mom
Good morning, my Isabel! Good luck sa try out mo. Kahit wala pang result ay proud na kami sayo. Love u.

I smiled.

Nag punta na ako sa parking lot.  And there, I saw my baby benz.

Sumakay na ako at umuwi na.

*fast forward

"Mom, I'm home!" Sigaw ko pagkadating sa bahay.

"Hey sweetie. I'm here sa kitchen!" I heard mom shouted from the kitchen.

I went to the kitchen and hugged my mom.

"Wow! Ang bango naman niyan mom!" sabi ko at inamoy ulit yung binabake na cookies ni mommy.

My mom loves to bake. She can even build a shop na nga eh. Lol what?

"Siyempre naman! It's your favorite kaya." Mom said habang nilalagay sa plate yung mga cookies.

Dumampot ako ng isa at kinain.

"So how's the try out?" Mom asked

"Uhm, okay lang naman. Tomorrow pa malalaman yung result." Sabi ko at kumagat ulit.

"Hmm okay. Go to your room na muna. Maglinis ka then sleep ka muna. I'll call you nalang if dinner's ready." Mom said at kiniss ako sa cheeks.

"Okay!" i said

Umakyat na ako at nag half bath.

After ko magbihis ay nahiga na ako.

Ugh. I love my bed. Pakasal na kaya ako sa bed ko?

Lol bea ano ba iniisip mo?

I'm about to sleep na when i remember something.

Oh God. That girl.

I can still remember how my heart skipped earlier when I heard her laugh.

Tapos yung eyes niya. Then her nose. Fck. I want to pinch her nose. Ugh stop huhu.

But then again, her eyes. Parang there's something eh. I can see na parang may problem siya.

Oh shoot. I didn't ask her name. Nice one bea.

Sayang. Baka siya pa una kong maging friend don. Since, newbie ako don. Hays.

But oh well, I'll go to Ateneo naman tomorrow. I'll ask her name if we will meet again.

Umayos na ako ng higa at ready na matulog.

But then the face of the girl earlier flashed in my mind.

And before i knew,  a smile curved on my lips before I fell asleep.
