The next day Jillian did not feel like getting up, going to school, saying a word or anything until Ava apologized.
"Hon, hon, hon, do you feel ok? When your dad picked you up from Odyssey you had tears coming down your face like a waterfall," Jillian's mom asked while giving Jillian tea.
"Mom please I am begging you please DO NOT let me go to school," Jillian said still tired from yesterday.
"Hon what's going on?," Jillian's mom said trying to calm down her down.
And as Jillian processed to tell her mom the story about how she lost her best friend to Abbey.
"Ok I am still trying to wrap my head around this but mabye you should try to be friends with Ava again
"Mabye but... I don't know," Jillian said with dobt
"Ava has been your friend for almost 6 years now... why don't you go reconnect with one of your closest friends...ok?," Jillian's mom said with confidence.
"Yeah ok... yeah let's go to reconnect with one of my closest friends!," Jillian said with excitement.
