In the summer of 2016 all of Joey's friends were meeting up at the Starbucks on 24th Street in Coca Beach,FL , Joey, a Junior in High school starting in 2 1/2 months, was a writer for the school news paper and not much of a lady's man but he was ready to find a girlfriend.
"Yo Joey! So happy to see you bro! Let me tell you my girlfriend is bringing her sister over here and I think you too might get along...," Jake, Joey's Senior friend, yelled with excitement.
"Hey Jake nice to see you and um please don't call me "bro"... but what's her name?," Joey questioned as they were sitting on the porch on the 2nd floor at Starbucks.
"Her name?," Jake asked mumbling to himself
"Hey guys! Did you already order yet?," Jake's girlfriend said in a perky matter.
"Oh hey babe, by the way what's your sisters name, you know, the one that was coming with you," Jake asked his girlfriend while she was greeting Joey.
"Her name is Lindsey and she is right behind me,"Jake's girlfriend exclaimed.
As Lindsey walked into the sight of Joey his stomach released all the butterflies in the world. His mind only went into how beautiful she was and how she was the one for him.
"Um, hello?," Lindsey said in confusion as she was waving her hand in front of Joey as his mind started to catch up on what was going on.
"Oh uh...uh...uh... hi," Joey said with the nervous in his system.
"Hey, I am Lindsey," Lindsey said in a perked up matter.
"Oh I am Jo...ey, Joey," Joey said still lost in his mind.
"Our mom wants everyone who meets Lindsey to hear this but I'll just tell you since you seem interested in my little sister." Jake's girlfriend said teasing both Lindsey and Joey.
"Stop, he is not interested in me I mean look at me...," Lindsey said trailing off.
"Lindsey, stop... you're beautiful, probably the most beautiful person I know. But even if he isn't interested I still want to tell him... just in case," Jake's girlfriend said with the menu in her hands.
"You know what I will tell him... I had a really bad image with me but I cleaned it up so you know...you don't need to worry about me doing anything bad," Lindsey said trailing off.
"Lindsey, you have a fascinating life story and because of that I was wondering..." Joey said shying off in the middle of his sentence.
"Yeah Joey!," Lindsey exclaimed with excitement in her voice.
"Well you see... I am a writer for the paper at my school and when we go back to school, all the students get the chance to write an article about what they did over summer and...," Joey said trying to get through the conversation with out getting distracted by Lindsey.
"Joey why don't you tell Lindsey over at the other table where there is privacy." Jake said while nudging his head over by the empty table behind Jake and his girlfriend.
"O...Oooook," Joey said while giving a thumbs up to his friend.
As Joey proceeded to pull up a chair for Lindsey he blurted something he was not suppose to blurt out .
"Lindsey...," Joey started
"Yea Joey." Lindsey said in a quick matter
"I think... I might...like someone.....," Joey said felling like his stomach was turning to another dimension
"Who?," Lindsey said with her bright blue eyes getting bigger every second.
"YOU!," Joey yelled on the top of his lungs.
It felt like en eternity but the 2 finally embraced after 3 seconds or so.
"Joey, I like you you too... but what did you say about the "summer" article?," Lindsey said still hugging Joey and in shock after the fact the cutest boy in the world just told her he liked her.
"Oh I was wondering if I can basically write about this summer since it is going to be the best ever considering the fact that I have now met you, the prettiest girl in the world." Joey said with the joy in his voice.
