Saturday morning I slept in late, I don't think I got out of bed until 3pm. Once I did decide to get up, I took an hour long shower and then got right back into bed. I pulled out my homework and actually finished all of it, which i don't normally do. It had been just about a day and i already missed Kyle. I wanted to text or call him, but i knew he was on a flight and woudnt answer. After another few hours of watching old episodes of How I Met Your Mother, I saw my phone light up on my bedside table. I hated when my phone made any sort of noise so i always had it on silent, which wasnt so convineint when id lose it, but i didnt really care. Looking over at my phone, i saw it was a text from Calyen.
Caylen: Hey, u okay? I know u probably wanna be alone right now and thats fine, but tomorrow we are going out whether you like it or not :) No need to text back, i know you read this. I'll be at your house at 11am tmro. Love ya. x
I smiled when i read the message, and then put my phone on 'Do not disturb' mode. Rolling over, I put in my ear buds and hit 'shuffle' on my ipod. I closed my eyes and before I knew it, I was asleep.
**********
"Andrea. What the hell? Andrea. Get up or I swear i'll sit on you." I was rudely woken up by Caylen shaking me.
Though they had fallen out while i was asleep, I could still hear the faint sound of 'Fools Game' by This Century playing in my headphones. Choosing to ignore Caylen, I rolled over onto my stomach and buried my face in my pillow. I heard him sigh, and the next thing I knew I felt like I was being sofficated by an elephant.
"CAYLEN!" I screeched as loud as i could, considering that my lungs were being crushed.
"Are you gonna get up?" He responded calmly, still sitting on my back. Propping myself up on my elbows, I turned my head as much as I could so that I could see him. He had his phone out, and looked like he could sit there for hours unless I agreed.
"Fine." I sighed. "Now get off me before I die!" I kicked my leg up, hitting his arm with my heel.
"Hey! Ow!" Caylen complained, while rubbing his arm and pouting like a child.
"You deserved it. Now, OFF." I laughed and pointed at the floor. After sticking his tongue out at me like the mature child he is, Caylen hoped off and headed towards my closet.
Sitting up, I watched him go through my clothes. "Looking for something in particular? The blue crop top to your left would really bring out your eyes." I joked, and in return Caylen just smirked.
He continued to make a mess of my closet, and I was bored of watching so I decided to get up and shower. Twenty minutes later I re-entered my room wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt while drying my hair with a towel. The first thing i noticed was the tornado of clothes on the floor in my closet, and the second thing I saw was an entire outfit layed out on my bed. Caylen had picked out a a cream colered knit sweater, dark denim shorts, and a tight white lace tank top. On the floor next to my bed was a pair of dark brown knee high boots. Looking at the outfit Caylen had put together, I laughed because he hadn't done half bad. I put on the tank top and shorts, but I chose a lightweight Heather grey cardigan instead of the cream one. Also, I switched the brown boots for my purple converse. I let my hair dry in its natural waves, applied a little mascara and eyeliner then topped it off with a soft pink lipgloss. Then I made my way downstairs.
As I turned the corner, I saw Caylen sitting on the kitchen counter, eating a bowl of froot loops and talking to my mom.
"Gooooood morning everyone!" I said cheerfully as I took the bowl of cereal from Caylens hands and began to eat it. He grunted in protest, to which I simply winked at him and sat down at the island.
