W I L L O W

I sat down across from Luke and Ashton, squeezing in between Calum and Michael. Calum finally sat down after buckling Jay in a child's chair. They all agreed on splitting a cheese pizza because cheese was all they could agree on. "Hello, welcome to Missy's Pizza, what would you like to drink?" The lady said, smiling. She winked at Luke, starting to make her boobs push out a little.

"Well," I started, capturing her attention. "You can start by not flirting with my boyfriend and father of my baby, sweetie." I said, smiling fakely. "I'll take a coke, and he will have a drink of not you, but coke." I remark, letting someone else speak.

Her face looked unbothered as she continuously kept shamelessly flirting with Luke. "I'm sorry, I need to speak to your manager." I snapped, making her face twist into terror. She scurried off to go get her manager.

A man approached our table, smiling. "Hello, I'm Jenn's manager, how may I assist you?"

After we walked through the doors, Ashton giggled at me. "I can't believe you had her fired!" He giggled, making me smirk.

"Don't flirt with my son's father." I said, giggling.

"Hey you!" I heard someone yell and I turned around to see the now fired waitress. "You got me fucking fired?" She sassed, and I laughed.

"Maybe you shouldn't act like a whore at work." I said, nonchalantly. Her face twisted in anger as she raised her fist at me, only for Luke to stand in front of me, grabbing her wrist with a glare.

"You lay a hand on her and you'll regret it." He snapped, and her face flashed to a scared motion.

She brushed it over and yanked her fist away. "Stupid people." She mumbled, walking away.

I giggle and hug Luke, smiling. "Thank you." I mumbled, making him smile as well.

"Hey boys, will you take Jay home? I wanna show Will something." Luke said, and they all smiled, putting Jay in the car.

He lead me to a cab, halting it for us. We climbed in and he told them where to go.

I gasped, seeing the courtyard, filled with petals. There were a bunch of our friends out there, and they smiled. I say Jay in Kayla's arms and I smiled, not seeing her in forever. I saw the boys with their instruments on the courtyard.

Luke ran over and they all started an old song, making my eyes water.

"Cause I never wanna be that guy,
Who doesn't even get a taste.
No more having to chase,
To win the prize.

You're just a little bit out of my limit, it's been two years now, haven't even seen the best of me. And in my mind now, I've been over this a thousand times, but it's almost over, let's start over."

My eyes filled with tears as they finished, making me smile. They started the all too familiar song, heartbreak girl.

After their mini concert, Luke slowly started singing our song, making my hands clasp together, tears breaking in my eyes.

"I love it when you just don't care
I love it when you dance like there's nobody there
So when it gets hard, don't be afraid
We don't care what them people say
I love it when you don't take no
I love it when you do what you want cause you just said so
Let them all go home, we out late
We don't care what them people say

We don’t have to be ordinary
Make your best mistakes
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party
I’m telling you to take your shot it might be scary
Hearts are gonna break
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party

Together we can just let go
Pretend like there’s no one else here that we know
Slow dance fall in love as the club track plays
We don’t care what them people say

We don’t have to be ordinary
Make your best mistakes
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party
I’m telling you to take your shot it might be scary
Hearts are gonna break
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party

Come out tonight, come out tonight
There’s no one standing in your way
Come out tonight, come out tonight
We don’t care what them people say
We don’t care what them people say

We don’t have to be ordinary
Make your best mistakes
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party
I’m telling you to take your shot it might be scary
Hearts are gonna break
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Life of the party
So don’t let them keep you down
Oh you know you can’t give up
‘Cause we don’t have the time to be sorry
So baby be the life of the party,"

My heart felt like it was a racehorse as Luke slowly got off the stage and got on one knee, making me gasp. "Willow," He started, taking my hand in his. My eyes started leaking liquid as he smiled, his own eyes filling with tears. "I know you were in so much pain when I left, and I'm so sorry, I know I messed up when I found out about Jay, but I promise to be here, to help through the bad. To help you when you're sick. To love you unconditionally, and never let that love die. You mean the world to me, and I'd hate to have my world split twice. You're cute when you're jealous, you're cute when you're in any mood, actually. I want to be Jay's father, I want to be your husband, baby." Luke said, pulling a ring from his pocket.

"Willow Anne Granger, please make me the happiest man. Let me love you when you're at your lowest points. Let me have your hand when I need help up. Let me be your eyes when you can no longer see. Let me be your legs when you can no longer walk. Let me be your ears when you can no longer hear. Let me be your voice when you can no longer speak. Let me be the strength to keep you going. Let me be the best husband and father in the world, and marry me?" He opened the box as I felt my heart speed from happiness.

Could I spend the rest of my life with Luke? With no regrets? Could I trust that he would be mine and mine only? Could I count on him? What about his dream? The band? The tours? The rumors? Could I depend on him to always be there? Could I depend on him to love me in a way no one else could? Could I trust him to not let me down?

I stared into his eyes, battling with my brains. My heart sped up even more as my heart kicked in, and my head nodded. He slid the ring on my finger and picked me up, placing my lips on his own, spinning me around. I felt like all that mattered in this moment was me and him. He held me close, our lips connected in an innocent and passionate kiss.

I pulled away and buried my head in his neck, crying from pure happiness. He was finally going to be my forever.

And my forever was complete.
