Johnny's POV
I walk into her room and sit on her bed. I don't regret kissing Jocelyn. She made me feel more than Clara would ever make me feel. I still feel guilt though. She was always there for me. She always knew how to make me smile. But Jocelyn did more. She made me feel alive. She kissed me. I mean, Clara kissed me, just not the way Jocelyn did. Clara kissed me for a moment before pulling away, but Jocelyn would kiss me for what seems like forever.
I look around Clara's room and watch all the memories run in and out of the room.
The time we pranked everyone in our grade school class, when we watched Hunger Games together, etc.
But the one thing that stood out to me was her diary.
The one thing she never let me see. She most prized possession. It was a lavender notebook I gave her for her 16th birthday. She loved it above all of her gifts that year. She wrote in it everyone she could. She loved it with her life.
I walk up to it and pick it up.
I open it to the first page and hear her voice as I read the words. It's like she is there beside me, reading them aloud.
