Chapter 1
Hi. My names Joana! I’m 16 and have just moved fromCornwalltoCheshire. It’s quite similar to be honest! Where I used to live there wasn’t many people around everyone knew each other and there wasn’t a beach close. But here inCheshirethere is even less people! we’ve just bought a house off of an older couple who’s kids have grown up and just moved out, there is only one other house on the road it’s a nice house with a pool in the garden (I think it’s a pool or otherwise ……. yeah I think they have a pool) the rain is trickling down the car window as we pull into the drive. This house is huge compared to our old one, I haven’t seen it before and my parent won’t tell me anything about it. My brother, who’s called james and is 13, hasn’t seen it either so were both in shock when we walk through the front door. I grab the down stairs room. Its massive! Has a swinging chair hanging from the ceiling, double bed, walk in wardrobe, window seat, sofa, TV wow ! Its amazing. I see the truck with all our belongings have arrived so I decide to go out with dad to bring some stuff in after about 30 minutes the first truck is done, cleared out and on its way back! Whilst waiting for the second truck to arrive the rain finally comes to a stop as the clouds start to break in the sky. I’m sat on the wall listening to my iPod when “where them girls at” my David guetta comes on. I can’t help but jump around and dance! I start laughing to myself when I hear more then one other person laughing; I turn around to see a group of four people. A tall, brown haired lady must be mid 30’s, a tall man with brown hair maybe late 30’s, a beautiful girl with short brown hair must be in her early 20’s and a cute brown curly haired boy probably about 18-19. I must of gone red as the lady, who’s name turns out to be Anne, starts talking, “oh hello, nice to meet you, we live across the road and thought we would come and see if you need a hand, nice dancing by the way.” We all start laughing again as I tell them to come on in. “MUM!” I shout “our new neighbours are here come say hello, they’ve come to see if we need a hand.” Mum, dad and James came down stairs. Luckily most of the furniture had been brought and placed the day before so we all went and sat in the living room. Myself and Gemma , who was the beautiful brown haired girl, got on from the word go. We got a bit bored of the whole adult talk and James and harry, the cute, brown curly haired boy, had already gone up to James room so I thought id show Gemma my room, and well have a look around my self. As we were looking around Gemma found a door. She asked if she could go in and I replied yeah sure not knowing what was through it.
“WOW!” I heard Gemma say. “What, what’s through there” I replied. I followed her in only to find a huge indoor swimming pool!! Linked to my room! There was a set of stairs up to the left which must be accessible through another room. I dip my toe to see the temperature. Warm. Perfect. i hear Anne shouting up to Gemma. Before we leave gems hugs me. “Heey Jo what you doing tomorrow” she asked. “Oh nothing as usual”. “How about we hang out get to know each other and stuff?” “Yeah sure how about you and harry come over here again and we can go in the pool. Ill get James to tag along as well” “sounds good see you tomorrow” she waved good bye and left ! I noticed I hadn’t seen harry leave so I go up to James’s room too see them both in the middle of a game of COD. Predictable. “Heey harry your family have gone back home just thought id let you know” he looked up with a shocked expression on his face then a cheesy grin washed over it “oh have they! Dam what a shame might have to stay the night, heey jo your rooms big enough ill sleep in there” what a little flirt. “harry you live about 20 steps away I think you will manage and anyway I’ve invited you and gem back tomorrow for a swim” James decides to rudely interrupt “hey jo I like the idea of seeing them tomorrow and stuff but where we going to go swimming to. We don’t have a pool” a cheeky grin starts creeping at the corner of my mouth “that’s what you think” James runs out the room by the sounds of it going into my room trying to find this mysterious pool when I notice harry looking at me from across the bed. “heey harry! Earth to harribo” “haha sorry jo jo got distracted and heey harribo ! That’s a first I like it” he said winking at me! He got up and I showed him to the door just before he left he did a quick scan around to see if anyone was there was anyone else around then gave me a kiss on the cheek said “see you tomorrow jo!” winked and left. Did that just happen, someone I’ve met for the first time just kissed me plus he’s the cutest boy I’ve ever met! But for some reason he looked slightly familiar. Anyway I need to text Lucy, big update!!!
