When Hitano came back from Balaak, he was welcomed by LilaSari's loving arms. Though he was then devoid of any emotions since he was already a Hadezar, a dead Encantado, he was disappointed with himself for not reciprocating. LilaSari was the one who taught him to move on and to love again when he was still living. He was in love with her -- way more in love with her than he was with Sang'gre Alena. At least that's what he remembers.

After winning an impossible war against the forces of Hagorn, LilaSari was suddenly gone missing. Though his fellow diwatas did not obliged him, Hitano decided upon himself to be the one to bring her back and hopefully reunite her to Deshna, their daughter.

It wasn't easy.

A decade had passed but Hitano was still clueless about the whereabouts of the woman he had loved. He had travelled every corner of Encantadia, in search of LilaSari. He was starting to feel like he had been chasing an endless trail with no possible destination for a huge period of time. Images of his past life, particularly the last moments of his life, would fortunately come back to him whenever he was thinking of giving up. Where did you go, LilaSari? Had she done it to get back on him?

Especially now that he was slowly getting some of his emotions back.

Seeing the significant changes over the years in Encantadia made it all worst. The three remaining daughters of Mine-a had forgiven one another and the three kingdoms and the territory of Adamya were now at peace. While he was not against the unification of the sisters and the warring kingdoms, the aftermath had somehow confused Hitano. Everything from the time he was still alive changed. Everything LilaSari had left behind changed.

He had failed LilaSari.

He had failed LilaSari and he believed that he should be extremely disappointed over this yet he even considered resting and residing in Lireo for a couple of days.

Hara Danaya, after hearing his plan, immediately asked for a favor. It was once in a lifetime; and like what had Mashna Muros once said, you could count the times Hitano had taken a break with only using a single hand. Hitano, being once a soldier of Lireo, had complied to the Queen. The favor was to train Diwani Lira and Diwani Mira.

"I believe that it is an honor to be trusted with the Diwanis but," he stopped, choosing his words. "may I ask the Queen, why me and not those of higher rank like Muros and Abog?" Hitano had asked, his face and body now cleared of excessive whiteness - one of the indications that he is a Hadezar.

"They already had their trainings under Mashna Muros, Hitano." paused Danaya. She was wearing her mother's old gown, the one his mother had once helped Mine-a to get into. "They even had too many under my elder sister, Hara Pirena, and the king of Sapiro, Rama Ybrahim."

Hitano nodded, even though his question was still unanswered by the Queen. "Is this because of the fact that I'm a Hadezar? Someone that your nieces will be challenged to defeat."

Dying is out of the limited choices.

With her eyes slightly wide-opened, Danaya nodded. "Yes," she confirmed, her face masked with an expression that looked like she was relieved. Hitano had already figured out that she was looking for words to say it to him. "So, have you made up your mind?"

"Yes."

"Are you going to train them now that you have decided to take a break in finding LilaSari?"

Sound of a repressed giggle had disrupted Hitano from his thoughts. The two young Sang'gres were both in front him, the loud one was waving her hands into circular motion, while the serious one was pointing her glowing sword under his nose.

"Hitano, are you..." Lira was trying her best not to laugh. She was always the jolly one, Hitano thought. "having a moment?" She had already dropped her hands on her sides while Mira was still on offense mode, the tip of her sword was now resting on Hitano's philtrum.

(Hitano couldn't think of anything he had done to make Lira so happy.)

"Lira!" She called out on her cousin. Lira was making weird things with her eyebrows and one look at her had easily shed Mira's facade. Like what Hitano initially expected, like what had happened on their three-day-old training, it ended with uncomfortable silliness.

Maybe he was too old to understand the youth these days. Or rather, too undead.

Though he had already accepted his fate for the end of the day's session, Hara Pirena, sporting her own training suit, had bursted into the secluded room through ivictus. She was not alone. She was with a scowl on her face that made both youngsters gulped an imaginary lump on their throats.

"Mira," She said in a very intimidating tone, standing with hands on her maroon-covered hips. "Lira."

"Poltre, Yna." Mira apologized immediately, her eyes downcast.

Lira, on the other hand, got the look on her face that would made any audience think she was betrayed.

"Ashtadis!" Pirena berated. The two Diwanis had stood up straight out of instinct. "What will happen to Lireo? Hathoria? Sapiro? If we left them with Ashtadis like both of you..."

"You're so nega, Ashti." Lira playfully responded, earning a quick kick on her left shin. "Poltre, Ashti."

The heat in the room increased.

Out of nowhere, his mind had played the time Pirena summoned her fire gem to give back his youthful look as a consolation - a thank you gift for helping them in the Fourth War. They couldn't do anything about his undead status but the sisters tried their best.

Pirena shook her head and finally looked at the only male in the room. "Hitano, you don't mind, do you?" She asked, her right hand now gripping Siklab - her sword.

Getting the message, Hitano had drawn his own from his back. "Not at all."

"You two Ashtadis will not leave the room until we are finish," said Pirena, not looking at both disagreeing Diwanis. It was time for afternoon snacks after all.

Faint protests were heard in the background but ignored by the fiery Hara of Hathoria. Hitano couldn't help but looked at the poor Diwanis, their faces resting on their palms. Well, it didn't take long as expected. Lira was starting to make faces at her Ashti when Pirena 'accidentally' threw her opponent's sword near her Hadia's direction. Lira stared incredulously at the older Sang'gre while Mira shyly buried her face on her left palm.

Pirena had just shrugged, pulling a smirk later on. It was crazy. Hitano might have smiled for the first time in ten years .
