"Ba-Bump.. Ba-bump.."

"I can hear your heart" he said as he laid his head on my chest. No words left my mouth just a smile and a soft laugh. I just closed my eyes and had his warmth rest on top of my body. I ran my fingers through his hair, I paused for a bit and he quickly raised his head.
"No don't stop" I laughed and continued to play with his hair.

I never expected for him to actually say something like that, for him to actually enjoy hearing my heart beat. I remember laying back in bed and hearing his voice repeat the words in my head  as I slowly and peacefully played with his soft brown hair.

"Oh it's beating?" I said as I stopped playing with his hair  and look to left of me and saw all the posters and lanyards hanging on his wall. I felt his head rise from my chest and his body lift up and stay raised above me.

I got filled with instant regret of what I had just said. I should have stayed quite or said what was actually on my mind at the moment. what I begged for my mouth not to say "It's beating because of you" but no I didn't say that I said something stupid like I always did.

....

...

.

"Ding.. Ding"

I hated hearing that noise. I knew what it meant, it meant having to get out of my warm bed, open the curtains and have the sunshine blind me. Don't get me wrong I am a morning person, but I love sleep even more. It's the only peace I can get these days.
"

Emilia!" My mother scream my name from the kitchen.

"I'm going" I said back. For my mother, I was always late according to her, even  if it was seven for her it was already seven thirty.  Therefore late.

Most the time I had picked out what I was going to wear the night before in my head, and just put it together in the morning. And there you go ready. I do have to say that I do like wearing makeup and so it extremely rare for me to leave the house empty face.

"Emilia!" Again my mom called out from the living room.

She's and alarm clock. I mumbled to myself after taking one final glance in the mirror and heading out to the living room.

"Do you have everything ready?" My mom kept asking me over and over again, even though she  watched me pack up my bag.

"Beep!" I heard the honk come from outside. I quickly grabbed my bag and ran out the door sating my goodbyes as I went out the door.
