Today is my best friend Lacey's birthday party and she is throwing a huge birthday bash. My clock went off at 7:30 am letting me know it was time to get up. When I got up I saw Harrison still sleeping soundly next to me. I quickly got up and ready for the day, careful not to wake Harrison. Because the less time I spend with him the better for the both of us. I got all my things ready and as I was about to leave the house someone cleared their throat behind me.

"Morning babe, why are you up so early?" Harrison asked from behind me. "It's Lacey's birthday don't you remember? We'll be spending the whole day together before her party tonight." I replied. "Why didn't you tell me sooner ?" he asked in a somewhat annoyed and irritated tone. "I......I just forgot, okay." I sighed. "Pfft you just forgot, keep telling yourself that Cassidy." he scoffed. I looked down at the ground frowning. Why was he being so mean to me he's usually so sweet and caring towards me.

He must have caught my expression, because he came from behind and wrapped his arms around me, whispering in my ear. "I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to make you feel bad babe." I immediately felt tense and uncomfortable in his arms. I quickly pushed him away and replied with a simple "It's fine." before I left the house without saying another word or even looking back...
