~Chap. 3

I'm awaken from someone shaking me. I look over and slowly open my eyes and it's my dumb ass brother

"Time to get up!" He says

"No" I groan and roll back over

"You have to we leave in 3 hours"

I look over at my alarm clock

4:00 AM

"Get up bitch" my brother says again

"Ugh fine!" I say and get out of bed. I look in the mirror and walk downstairs to get breakfast. I see Jacob on the couch and I try to sneak into the kitchen so he doesn't see me. I tiptoe to the cabinet and slowly open it. I pull out a box of Poptarts and pull a pack out. Just as I'm leaving I drop it... "Shit" I say to myself and Jacob pulls attention away from the television and looks over at me and smiles.

"Hey" he says.
He looks so cute wrapped up in his grey blanket.

He pats the spot on the couch next to him.

"Why don't you sit down"

"I'd rather not" I say rolling my eyes

"Please" he begs. He looks right at me with his hazel eyes. He smoothed his hair, I think on purpose.

"Okay but just for today, got it?"

"Hmm okay" he says and he watches me as I walk over and sit next to him. He gives me some of the blanket and he scoots closer to me. I can smell faint cologne and I can feel and hear his warm breath hit my neck. I bite my lip

He tries to pull me closer to him but I push his hands away.

"I said I'd sit next to you, not cuddle"

He looks at me "fine..."

I unwrap the foil package of the strawberry flavored Poptarts. I show him the package and he takes one.

"Thanks" he says and takes a bite

I smile at him and take a bite, letting the delicious crunchy and gooey substance take over my taste buds.

He looks at me

"Your smile is so cute"

I try not to smile at the compliment as best as I can

"Thanks..." I sat quietly and look at the television.

"What are we watching?" I ask

"Idk, what would you like to watch?" He says and offers me the remote. He purposely brushes my hand against mine when he hands me it. He smirks and I roll my eyes. I turn on Netflix.
"How about stranger things?" We both say. We look at each other and both start laughing. He looks at me and wipes my mouth with his thumb.

"Sorry you had crumbs on your lips" he says and takes another bite.

"It's fine" I say and smile. I look at his side profile of his face as he chews and watch his jawline muscles contract with every chew.
I click on stranger things and we watch a few episodes as the sun slowly rises. I accidentally fall asleep on his shoulder and runs his fingers through my hair
"Hey" he whispers and I open my eyes
"It's 5:00AM, we should start getting ready" I shake my head and slowly sit up and look at him. He smiles at me and I rub my eyes.
