Us Against The World.

Alba's POV.

Today is the last day of school, Masato and I got to the school just intime for first period.

Our desks are right next together.

" I'm so glad that today is our last day  " Masato said. I laughed at him. We already had our graduation ceremony. Then the teacher came in.

Lunch came along and we went to our spot. But as soon as we got outside. Some girl who want to date Masato came up to us and said.

" Masato I've been looking everywhere for you. "

" oh yeah and why is that." He said sarcastically.

" I and having a party tonight and I -"

" sorry but I have a date. " now I'm confused.

" With who." She looked angry.

" My girlfriend of course. " he wrapped his arm around me and used his free hand to lift my chin up to his face and pressed his mouth to mine.  WTF .

Masato's POV.

I heard her stomp away. I pulled away from Alba.

" Sorry about that, I just needed to get her to leave me alone. "

" no it's fine " She said.

" So what are you planning to do after school since we are released from this prison" I laughed. 

" I don't know I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of places I applied for an internship." She said as we sat down .

" That's awesome Albie." I said.  She looked at me and said.

"Masato how has your dad been . " She asked.

" well it actually hasn't been bad for a while. I've only got a bruise from a few weeks ago. "  she smiled and took my hand.

" massy like I said don't stay at home if it gets bad again. Your my best friend. I can't ever lose you. " she said.

" And you won't. I promise. " I pulled her into a side hug.

Alba's POV.

When I got home after school, I was still freaking out about Masato kissing me. I walked into the kitchen and sat down.

" Hi mom." she stuck her head up over the counter. She was digging for something under the island.

" hi babydoll. How was your last offical day of highschool. " She asked.

" It was okay I guess just seemed like everyother day. " I blushed. She grinned at me.

" No it wasn't ... Something happened. "

" Mom Shhh." I said quickly. She giggled.

" Oh your father is not even home.  Now spill girlie. " She stopped what she was doing and came over to sit beside me.

" Well today during lunch, this girl that's been trying to hook up with masato,  tried to ask him to go to a party with her and then he said, I can't, I'm going on a date with my girlfriend. Then kinda kissed me. " My mom couldn't stop the grin from turning into a full on smile..

" Ahh I knew it. I knew he liked you. "

" Mom he just did that to get rid of her. He doesn't actually like me that way " I explained.

" Hunny I have had lots of guy friends, not one of them have ever kissed me to get rid of a girl. That boy loves you. He just doesnt know it yet. Plus your father owes me $20 and an expensive dinner. " she laughed.  God I love my mom.

Later that night it was about 7:30, dad threw his keys at me and told me to go start the car. Just as I opened tolhe door. Masato stood there infront of me. He looked off.

" Masa-" he literally fell into my arms.

Ash's POV.

" are you really that lazy to start the car yourself. " I said. " Mmmmm yeah" my goof ball of a husband said back.

" DAD.". Alba screamed. We both shot out to the door, first thing I noticed was Masato on the floor, Alba patting his face trying to get him to wake up. She looked terrified. Then I noticed there was blood ozing from under his shirt. We both dropped to our knees.

" Hunny what happened." I said .

" I don't know I just opened the door and he collapsed. " She cried.

" We can't wait for an ambulance. Alba grab that blanket. Ash open the car doors, Alba put the blanket act the back seat and wrap it around him when I put him on it.  " Aoi said , we both did what we were told. I looked back to see Aoi sliding his arms under Masato to pick him up. The next twenty minutes was all a blur.

By the time Masato was in surgery. I found Alba sitting on the floor.

" Babydoll. " I sat next to her and pulled her into my arms. She started sobbing. I tightened my arms, and asked.

" Do you know who might have done thing to him. "  she looked at me with tear stained eyes.

" His dad." my eyes widened.

" What"

" Ever since his mom died, his dad has been abusing him, he didn't want me to tell anyone. Mommy I told him he could just stay with us, he didn't listen. This is my fault, I should have told someone. But he was so scared of his dad." She was full out hysterical now. I looked up to see Aoi, his eyes sad and terrified that our daughter thinks this is her fault. He bent down and picked her up by her arms.

" Come on babygirl off the floor. " He said quietly. He set her in a chair and then helped me up.

We went to find a doctor, Alba just wanted to stay where she was.

" Hi we just brought Masato Hayakawka, and we really nee to know what's going on. " the nurse looked at her charts.

" I'm so sorry, but it's not looking good. Hid wound is a lot deeper then we thought,much wider too. When they are done with him in surgery, it will be a miracle if he even survives the night, that's all I know for now. But the second he is out I will personallyfind you and  tell you. " she said.

" thank you. "  my husband said. It finally sank in.

" Yuu that boy can't die. " I looked at him, and felt the tears roll down my face.

" it will kill her." I muttered through my tears.

" I know baby, I know. " he whispered as he how had his arms around me.

OKAY I KNOW THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE . THE WAIT YOU HAD TO ENDURE. IT WS JUST THAT I DIDNT REALLY HAVE ANY MOTIVATION. SO I NEED COMMENTS, AND VOTES. AND LOVE... WHOOHOO. ANYWAY.
