I might appear cool and calm outside
But a ball of fire brew inside me
You can try to touch my weakness
And the fire will burn your hands
It's not by choice sometimes
a self preserving mechanism I say
You come too close to the long lost emotions
someone has to pay
My coolness outside is not a facade
It's a choice I enjoy and choose to display
Respect my emotional weather
And I will respect you in my own special way.
