"Mm-Ma-Mathew?" I said shocked.
He ran up to me and kissed my cheeks.
"What happened to Mother and Father? And sister? And brother?" I said concerned.
Matthew looked at me in dismay. He was scared, I felt it. What happened though. Our family was apart, and Matthew was the only one I had. I waited for Matthew to answer.
"Well?" I asked Mattew. "Please Matthew, where's our family?" I begged. I really wanted to know.
Matthew came to me and hugged me. Now I was very concerned.
"Our family got split up by the militia. I was told to join the army, so I joined. I thought you and everyone else would be safe, but I was the only one that was. I took medication and surplus for a long time and stashed it somewhere no one would go to. Then I ran away and took a friend." Matthew pointed to the girl.
"What's her name?" I asked Matthew.
"Oh. Uh, her name is.... Mi..Mich.. Michelle! That's her name! I forgot about you for a minute Michelle."
Michelle didn't talk that much. She certainly wasn't afraid or scared, so I don't know why she didn't talk to me.
"Then how did I end up in a tunnel?" I asked Matthew and his assuming girlfriend Michelle.
"All we know is Mason and you were drugged, so you'd forget what happened." So that's what one siblings name is, so what's the other ones name? "I sent Michelle to look out for you and our other siblings, and I looked for Mother and Father. Michelle found you first and called me to come and see you."
"Then why weren't you drugged Matthew?" This just confused me way too much.
"The army wanted my full memory so I could have sources to fight." Matthew looked down.
"So then why'd they take the rest of our memory. Marissa could have been a scientist! Mason could have been a pilot. We all had dreams, Matthew, so why'd they only keep yours?!" I screamed.
Matthew looked down, Michelle just stared. I bet she was mad at me for yelling at Matthew. I didn't care too much. I loved Matthew, but this was too much. Plus my head couldn't take the crap coming into my brain. I stormed out of the garage. The woods were right there, so I ran straight through there.
Run. Run 'til you drop. Run, run, run. Run 'til you drop.
The tune repeated through my head until I dropped on a thorn bush. I ran about two miles without stop. I was really torn up. It was bad. Blood covered my arms and legs.
"I lost too much blood. Shit, I'm going to die on a thorn bush." I repeated that through my head. I suddenly lost my eye sight. A few moments later, I passed out in the thorn bush.
