Wait... Again?

I put my spray paint away...

Zoe's POV

Ezra wrapped me in another hug. I blushed and he chuckled, Ezra took my hand as we walked out of the room, I let his hand go and climbed down the ladder to the cargo hold.

A few hours later I heard a thud on the floor, I jolted up and opened my eyes,

"How's it going kid?" Zeb asked, I laid back down,

"Good, I guess" I said taking deep breaths. I got up and walked to the cockpit, Hera and Kanan were like 2 inches from each other and I quickly turned around to try to leave but Kanan shut the door with the force,

"Well, there is no escaping this one" he said and I spun around and frowned, they separated and faced me,

"Nope, umm... Hera can you cut my hair?" I asked

"Sure, how so?" She asked and I pointed to the length I wanted it to be, and she nodded,

"Hold on let me get my supplies first," Hera said, I faced my brother with a smirk,

"Don't you look at me like that, Zoe Jarrus," Kanan said,

"Like what!? Like I know there is something between you two?" I said putting my hands on my hips and leaning forward, also cocking my head to the right. Kaster groaned and twisted his head and let out a loud sigh, like he often did when I was right, even if he was blind, it really didn't stop him from knowing what I did. I walked right in his face and looked up at him, he was facing to his left and shaking his head,

"When will you ever know Zoe?" Kaster said cupping my cheeks and kissing my forehead, I giggled and hugged him. Hera walked back in with some supplies.

About a good 10 minutes Hera was finished,

"Done!" she said and handed me a mirror, I looked at myself and hugged her,

"Thanks so much, Hera. I handed her back the mirror and walked out into my room I shared with Ezra. He was laying on the bed sleeping soundly. I took off my headband and put it on the dresser, I was fixing my hair when I heard movement to the right of me,

"Zoe, Zoe! No!" Ezra yelled, I ran to his side and woke him up,

"Ezra, I'm right here." I said and he jolted up with tears and fear in his eyes. He hugged me tight,

"It's okay Ezra" I said softly and kissed his forehead

"I thought I lost you" he said and I shook my head

"It felt so real" He repeated multiple times. I rocked back and forth, trying to calm him down, I noticed he was older than me by like a year and a half. He looked up and kissed me, I kissed him back, he sat up completely next to me and looked at my hair,

"Looks nice, babe," he said stroking my head, he pulled me close and I leaned on his shoulder, I started to doze off, but I jolted back up, it was quiet, that was rare, I looked at the time, it was 4 in the afternoon I groaned and Ezra grabbed my hand, and we stood up,

"What are we doing Ezra?" I asked and he put on a goofy smile I smirked and shook my head while Ezra led me out the room. We walked to the cargo bay and sat down,

"I asked that years ago" I joked and he bent down and kissed me, so I kissed him back, Ezra pulled away and we smiled,

"I just realized I am way taller than you" Ezra said and I rolled my eyes then playfully punched his shoulder, he stumbled backwards. I grabbed his hand and we both fell

"I was played wasn't I" I asked and he smirked with a nod. We got back up and I stretched and yawned, Ezra put his hands on my waist and whispered something in my ear,

"You're tired, but I love you" he said and I started blushing like there was no tomorrow. I raised my hands to hide my cheeks, but I ended up backslapping Ezra in the face, I covered my mouth,

"Ezra I'm so so sorry" I said putting my hands on his shoulders, his hands were covering where I slapped him, he murmured something and I leaned forward

"Look out" he said and before I could process, he started tickling me. I laughed for about 10 minutes straight.

We were laying on the floor and the sun was setting, I was giggling a little and Ezra sat up, he had a weird look on his face, I crawled over to him,

"Ezra are you..." I started to say before I heard a sharp screech, I covered my ears and bent down.

Ezra's POV

Zoe covered her ears and started screaming

"Ahhh!" She yelled, she fell forwards and I caught her in my arms,

"Zoe, what's wrong!?" I asked, she was still covering her ears,

"Kanan! Hera!" I yelled and a few seconds later Kanan came sliding down the ladder, he stumbled a bit and ran over to Zoe,

"No, not this again" he said, I had a confused look on my face and tilted my head to the left,

"Again!? Wait this happened before?" I asked and he nodded,

"A few years ago she started crying and covering her ears like she is now. It's only happened once, when the Empire burned our house and our parents to the ground." He said and I lowered my head and looked at Zoe,

"I'm sorry for asking." I replied, he shook his head and waved it off.
     "Hera! We need to jump to Hyperspace now!" Kanan yelled and I looked up and saw the blue stars indicating that we were in hyperspace. Zoe removed her hands from her ears and opened her eyes and she freaked out and started shaking her head,

"Zoe, I'm right here" Kanan said and she stopped shaking, she looked at both of us and hugged us.

"I thought you guys were gone" Zoe said sobbing, I shook my head

"We will never leave you" Kanan said
