For a few missisipis there was silence and nothing else "somebodys going to have to carry out the mission, we cant sit here looking like sour lemons...we could die!"the pilot ordered"okay, there are 5 people,1 person is the pilot so he cant do it-" matt was cut off mid scentence
"I will," Tom volunteered
"No,your a newbie you might slip up...no offence but we need an experienced astronaut,"matt replied
"Matt, he wants to do it, why turn him down?"questioned george (another astronaut)."He's right,whats the point anyone else doing it ,you all have families, i have nobody.If theres a single chance of dying, then nobody will miss me,"Tom bravely said
"Okay, but it's your life"matt finally agreed.
(5 minutes later)
"Well,here i go,wish me luck (I'll need it)" Tom whispered.Tom went through the access tube holding a cable as he went through.within minutes tom had walked to the front of the space shuttle and tugged the rock out then patching it up.Next he picked the rock up and brought it back to the shuttle.the mission was complete."look it was only a small space rock i dont see how it was much of a prob-"Tom boasted."cr...crrrrr....crrrrrrrrraaaaaa" the 'space rock' was hatching.A purple glow burst out of the rock sucking in everything there."nnnnooooo!"screamed george
