It was a nice and sunny day. Sir Gilbert thought it was perfect for a quick meeting of the Alphas.
He sent an invitation to Peck, Cosmo, Liza, Graham and Greely. Tavie was a dolphin and couldn't meet on land unless it was urgent. Which it was not, in this case.
Sir Gilbert looked up as Peck arrived, skipping into the Cave. The Cave was where the alphas had their secret meetings. Then Cosmo and Graham came, chatting about a new invention. Liza walked in after them. Greely came in last, buried deep in thoughts about how to defeat the phantoms and such.
"So." Sir Gilbert cleared his throat. "You guys know about the new island we found?"
"Which one?" Peck asked.
"The one near Crystal Sands. It's new. What do you think we should do with it?"
"Dunno," Liza said. "Ummm, ANOTHER meeting place?"
"Well, think about it, okay?" Sir Gilbert rose from his chair, ending the meeting.
