Chapter 8: One More Second

Only one week left for the summer vacation ending. School will start.
"Marcus! Your skating video has gone viral!" Amy tells Marcus.
"I bet everyone was laughing." he replies angrily.
"Of course, who the hell would try to skate down a hill. Starters try to be careful, you know." Mary says to him.
Marcus looks at her and starts laughing.
"I love you, too!" he says and tries to get up.
"Don't. You know, your leg is broken, lol, that sounded weird. Anyway, you should be sitting down or laying down." Ellie says walking around the room.

"Are you sure about this?" Stiles asks Jasper.
"Yep, it'll be really funny!" Jasper replies.
"Okay, the camera is ready! Are the buckets ready?" Martinus asks.
"Yes!"
"Okay, recording i three, two and one! Action!" Martinus whispers.
"GIRLS COME HERE!!! YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS OUT!!" Jasper yells at the girls.
The girls come running outside.
But then buckets full of water and ice cubes fall on the girls.
"JASPERRRR!!!" Ellie yells at him.
"DEREKKK!!!" Nia yells at Derek.
"MARTINUSSSS!!" Malia screams.
"STILESSS!!!" Amy yells.
"MY BOYFRIEND BROKE HIS LEG SO I DON'T KNOW WHOSE NAME I'LL YELL!!" Mary screams.
"YOU BOYS ARE DOOMED!" all the girls scream and start running after them.
They run and run and run until the girls catch them.
When they get caught the girls take ducktape and stick them on the first traffic light they see. They leave them sticked there.
"Bye boys!" Ellie says and then all of them laugh.
"Japser, this was your idea." Martinus tells Jasper.
"I didn't know girls can run fast."
"You underestimated them, and now we are stuck on the traffic lights." Dereks says and tem all of them laugh. Many people take out their phones and take pictures.

One day left for school to start.
"I wish we had at least a second more of summer." Nia says to the group.
"Yeah, we could be eating ice-cream instead of buying notebooks for school." Mary replies with ice-cream in her hand.
