Prolouge

She was always Sherlock’s soft spot, the sibling that made him feel not so alone. She had his brains, but he of course, was the smart one and Mycroft was even smarter. She was a girl so Mycroft didn't pay much attention to her when they were younger and when they were older, it was too late to win her affection, Sherlock had it all. And when he moved out, his affection didn't change but she started to not answer him. He heard she was having a hard time at home, a freak and an outcast but when he reached out to her, she ignored him. When he offered his apartment she scoffed at him.

Then months later, precisely a month before her sixteenth birthday, Sherlock got a call at three in the morning from his sobbing mother saying his sister had disappeared. And then the stupid doorbell rang and Mrs. Hudson could be heard grumbling about who that could possibly be. Sherlock listened for a second before hearing the voice he had missed so much.

“Ah, Mrs. Hudson yeah? Hi, I’m here for Sherlock Holmes? My names Carlieta, Carlieta Holmes.”
