"What do you mean you have another tour?" I asked my husband. "Taylor is going on tour again and he needs me to go" Colby explained.
"Colby-"
"I know what you're going to say Y/N. It's not going to happen again, I promise" he said grabbing my hands. "That's not what I'm worried about. What about Gabi?" I asked.
"I'll call and video chat her everyday, just like last time" he said. I rolled my eyes and pulled my hands away from him.
"You really forgot?" I asked. "Forgot what?" He asked. "You promised her you'd go to that dance with her" his eyes widened once he remembered.
"She's gonna be crushed if you tell her you're not going" I told him.
"You're not coming to the dance with me?" Both of our heads snapped to the kitchen door to our 14 year old daughter.
"Honey I'm sorry, I have to go on tour again" Colby explained.
"Of course. I should've known you actually being there for something was too good to be true" she snapped.
"Gabi!" I scolded.
"You're always 'going on tour' who's to say you're not out with Corinna again?" She asked. "You know what. I'll be upstairs" Gabi said before running up the stairs.

"I don't why you're making me go. I'm going to be the only one there without her father" Gabi sighed. "You look beautiful" I stated kissing her forehead.
The doorbell rang as Gabi walked into the kitchen to get a drink.
"I'm here for my date" Colby said leaning against the door frame in a tux.
"Gabrielle, your date is here" I called. "Date? What d- DADDY!" She screamed running towards him.
"You ready to hit this dance so I can't show them I have the most beautiful daughter there?" Colby asked her.
"Yeah let's go" she yelled.
"Just a second ago you didn't even wanna go" I laughed. "Well I do now. Let's go" she said pulling Colby towards the car.
"Bye" I yelled.
"Bye" they yelled back.
