Louis POV:
The party continued quite like how it began. The same snobby adults, my giggling sisters, and all my attention being pushed towards the curly haired boy.
I couldn't help it. He was so, different. Nothing like any of the other kids that worked for my dads business.
He seemed, mysterious, holding secrets. Like a house. One that I needed to find keys for each door in order to find out what hides within them.
I loved it. It has been years since I have had this kind of excitement. The thrill of a new person.
Being that I'm sent to a private school, there are always the same people. And none of which I feel even slightly comfortable around. They are all just as stuck up, thinking they're better than anyone else.
The night seemed to drag on, but before I knew it, I heard a glass smash. My head shot up from my now clean plate to see my mother blushing and laughing as she stood above the broken clear pieces.
They would never, ever laugh in a situation like this, making it obvious they were drunk. Oblivious to what was really happening.
I took this as my chance. Well, me and Harry's chance. I nudged him in the shoulder lightly, trailing my eyes up to his. I nodded my head in the direction of the hall to signal that this was a good time to escape.
I watched as Harry nodded, his curls bouncing out and back into place as he did so. I sent him a light smirk, slipping out of my chair casually.
Harry followed in my actions, and I slowly but surely led him out and up the stairs to my room.
I let out a sigh of relief as I entered my room. It wasn't messy like what one would think of a teenage boys room as. It was clean and put together, not a hair out of place. I hated it. Why couldn't It just be normal? Let a few things out of place for once. But according to my parents, having money means being clean. Well, paying someone to be clean for us.
I ran a hand through my hair, turning to face Harry. I smiled soft, pushing myself on my tiptoes slightly to get more height. "Well, this is my room." I nodded and chuckled a bit, glancing around then back up at him.
Harry laughed softly, shoving his large hands into his pockets and looked around. He hummed in what seemed to be approval, smiling back down at me. "Nice." He shrugged.
I chuckled a bit more, shrugging off my coat and threw it onto my desk. "Ugh, I get so stuffy in these suits." I mumbled, sliding off my shoes and plopped myself down on the edge of my bed.
Harry nodded in agreement, slipping off his jacket and setting it aside mind. "I know right?" He laughed soft, shaking his head.
"Anyways," I hummed out, looking over at him as he sat on my revolving black desk chair.
"Anything in mind you wanna do?" I shrugged and smiled soft.
"Sleep." He breathed out with a soft laugh. Which I answered with a laugh as well and a "don't we all?"
It was silent for a few moments. Not an awkward one, but not exactly a comfortable one.
I cleared my throat a bit, making Harry snap out of his thoughts looking quite shocked. "Sorry.." I chuckled soft. He blushed a light pink and shook his head, smiling soft.
I laughed gently, tapping my fingers on my lap. "What's your favorite movie?" I asked randomly, pulling myself into criss cross position.
Harry raised an eyebrow and smirked lightly. "Love actually." He said with a chuckle and faint blush. "You?"
"Any disney movie." I nodded, laughing soft. "Hmm..favorite color?"
"Blue." He smiled, "you?"
"green!" I chuckled, proceeding to ask more questions.
Before I new it, an hour past. Me and Harry had continued our question game. it turned out quite fun. We just laughed, laughed and laughed. The hardest I've laughed in a while to be honest. I feel I've gotten to know him a bit more. And I liked it. A door, unlocked in his house. But there seemed to be so much more. So much more to this boy.
"Harold?! Louis?!" I heard mine and Harry's parents call up. "Oh shit." I mumbled, both our eyes widening.
"Coming!" I called quickly and tugged on my jacket, completely forgetting my shoes. Harry quickly pulled on his jacket and frowned.
I sighed and we both scurried out of my room and down the stairs to come face to face with our, much sober looking, mad fathers.
Me and Harry exchanged worried glances. Shit.
