Chapter 1
"Let the seventy-fourth Hunger Games begin!", cried the announcer.
Peeta had been shaking during the countdown, thoughts of his family and Katniss running through his head. That's when the tone starting the Hunger Games rang. He didn't relise it had rang until he spotted the tributes beside him sprinting to the middle of the field, the cornucopia. He started to run to the cornucopia but hesitated, realising that he would be entering a bloodbath. Instead he turned around running towards the thick forest that was behind him.
