"Parker Jones?" I lifted my head slightly off of my desk when I heard my name.

"Yes?"

"May I see you after class please?"

"Uh, sure."

I laid my head back down on my desk and Mrs. Bradbury continued with her lecture.

Class passed at a fair pace, and I gathered my things and joined Mrs. Bradbury at her desk.

"You wanted to see me?" I say, shifting my weight from leg to leg.

"Ah yes. The newspaper project that you turned in, was a very good piece. I just wanted to tell you congratulations on being the only A out of all my classes."

I could feel my cheeks heating up. "Uh, thanks."

"You have also advanced in this class above everybody else. And I have a few students who are struggling, and failing may I add, that could use some extra help. Do you think you could tutor a few students?"

"Uh, I need to talk to my parents about this first. But otherwise I wouldn't mind. How many would I be tutoring?"
"Just two, but on separate days of course."

"Oh, okay. Yeah, I'll ask my parents. I'm sure they wouldn't mind though."

"Okay, thank you Parker. I'll see you tomorrow." Mrs. Bradbury is probably one of my favorite teachers. She teaches amazingly, and makes references to everything in the present day.

"Hey Parker!" Eren yells at me when I exit Mrs. Bradbury's. I smile and wave in his direction.

"Why did she hold you after?" Eren asks when he catches up to me.

"She wants me to tutor a couple of kids. Nothing major."

"Are you going to do it?" Eren walks alongside me down the street.

"I think it could be good for me, as well as the two I would be tutoring."

"Who would you be tutoring?"

"Um, I don't know. I didn't ask."

"Well, genius, if you chose to do the tutoring thing, will we still have time to hang out? You know how Mikasa loves our time together."

"Of course. I would never put then about you guys. You guys are my best friends."

Eren hugs me when we arrive at his house. I smile and wave at Mikasa. Then I walk to my house.

"Dad? I'm home!" I drop my bag by the front door and go to the kitchen. I smile when I see him dancing around the kitchen.

"Hey Parks! How was your day?" he smiles, hugging me.

"It was pretty good. I was the only person to get an A on the Newspaper project."

"I'm so proud of you! Tonight, we shall celebrate! With cake!" he kisses the top of my head.

"Thanks dad. Also, Mrs. Bradbury wants me to tutor a couple of kids. She said it would only be a couple days a week. Is it okay if I do that?"

"Of course! Whatever makes you happy." he smiles and continues making dinner.

Soon after, we eat dinner together.

"So, do you know what you want to do when you graduate yet?" dad asks me.

"Of course I do."

"What do you want to do?" he smiles warmly after another bite of noodles.

"I want to join the Scout Regiment."

I smiled when I did that. But my dad stopped chewing and looked me directly in the eyes.

"You... What?"

Hey guys, I decided to start a new fic. In still working on the Calum one, I just got really bad writer's block. But I promise that I'm still working on it.
