CHAPTER 2

I gawked at my iPhone.

Standing in the middle of the hallways crowded with students.

Bree pulled me arm.

" let's go 'Kenzie " Ashlee whispers yanking my other arm.

" People are watching and waiting" she hissed.

I continued to stand there.

" No, just no" I mumbled...I think I mumbled but my mind was extremely numb.

" Uh Mackenzie let's go" Bree whispered.

I started to walk to Sarah. who was standing by her locker with her friends,

Jessica and Ariana the two brunette twins.

" Uh Sarah" I said trying to get her attention but she stared down at her black berry cellphone.

" I know. my mom said meet her at the front office" Sarah looked dazed as we walked down the hallway.

But it wasn't just Sarah and I confused.

Every other fellow Queen state student watched as the two biggest rivals at this school we actually walking together.

" Mackenzie" Chloe called after me.

Waving her hand to signal me back.

" Sarah" Jessica hissed and grabbed Sarah's shoulder.

" Are you crazy?" Ari asked as she switches her cellphone from one ear to the other.

" One minute Taylor" she said and walked away.

"why are you with the winner of Americas drag queen contest?"

Sarah brushed Jessica's hand of her shoulder.

"Go away." Sarah said " this is an emergency".

Jessica narrowed her eyes at me.

"Well" Ari said when she claimed her spot next to Jessica again.

" Let's just hope you don't get rabies" Ari said flipping her hair and walking away while dragging Jessica with her.

I looked at Sarah in disbelieve. She ditched her friends for me?

Well whatever just happened Sarah must have gotten more information than me.

We finally reached the office. It was a big room with light blue walls big windows with white window sills.

" Hello Mrs. Erin" Sarah flashed a huge grin at the secretary.

Sarah and Mrs. Erin kept chit chatting so I took a seat at one of the white leather couches.

When my dad and Mrs. jones came in.

" Sorry we're late girls" my dad said shooting us an apologetic grin.

" Hello I'm Samantha Jones." Mrs. Jones reached out her hand and I shook it.

She was tall and had a large stomach. With golden coloured hair around her shoulders and bright blue eyes and perfect white teeth.

" Girls were taking you home. go grab your stuff and meet us back here" my dad instructed.

This was so weird.

" This is weird" I whispered to Sarah in the hallway.

She rolled her eyes in response.

Whatever.

When we finally got back to the office my dad and Samantha were holding hands.

Ew.

"Okay let's rock and roll ladies." my dad said standing up.

we reached the parking lot and I stopped.

" No wait dad I cant leave my car here" I reminded him.

" Oh yes. why don't you text one of your friends to just drop it off later this is important sunshine" my dad said.

I texted Chloe and hopped in he backseat of the car with Sarah.

" Okay girls this might sound crazy but-"

" I'M PREGNANT" Samantha interrupted.

" WHAT?" Sarah and I cried in sync.

" Yes it's true" my father replied.

" We'll explain more later at home"

Sarah said.

And my dad started the car and we left the parking lot where my whole life changed.
