-One month later-
*Isabella's POV*
I cannot believe how fast this time came. It is now time to leave. Zoe was at my side, crying.
"I'm gonna miss you so much." I said.
"I'm gonna miss you too."
She gave me another hug before we boarded the plane.
"Call me when you get there?" Zoe asked.
"Of course."
She smiled at me and I smiled back at her.
"I guess, I'll see you when we visit." I said.
Zoe let out a deep breath
"Okay. I'll see you then."
I gave her a final hug and mom, dad, Luke and I boarded the plane. We all got seated, and I was in a seat by myself. I wonder who was going to sit next to me. I just ignored that thought, and thought: 'What will my house look like?' 'Will I make friends?' That's when my thoughts got interrupted to someone sitting next to me. I couldn't see them, but they were wearing a red MagCon hoodie. I guess we were interested in the same thing.
"Hi." I said to them.
They looked up at me. I was so shocked. Carter. It was him! He was sitting next to me!!
"Hey." He said.
"Hang on, you're Carter Reynolds!!"
"That would be me."
"Okay, you do not know how much I am in love with your vines!"
"Probably a lot?"
"Way more than a lot."
He laughed small.
*Carters POV*
Wow. She is gorgeous.
"Hi." She said to me.
I looked up at her. She was so beautiful. Her eyes just glowed green.
"Hey." I said back to her.
She asked me if I was Carter Reynolds, of course I am. So I said yes. She seemed really excited to see it was me.
"So, you're off to North Carolina too?" I asked.
"Yeah, we're moving there from here. My dad had to get a new job."
"Well, you'll like it there. I guarantee it."
She smiled at me and I smiled back. I noticed her nose was red and her eyes were watery.
"Sorry to ask, but have you been crying?"
She looked embarrassed.
"Oh, yeah. I don't want to leave here."
"I understand that."
*Isabella's POV*
I can't believe I am sitting next to THE Carter Reynolds! How could this be? Whatever, just play it cool.
"So-" I was about to talk, but I was interrupted by the captain. We were about to lift off. I felt SO nervous. I had never been on a plane before. I started shaking.
"Umm, are you okay?" Carter asked.
"What? Oh, yeah. I've just never been on a plane and I am scared."
"It's not that scary. I'll make you feel safe!"
I smiled at him. I honestly cannot believe that Carter is trying to make me feel safe, he doesn't even know my name!
"So, what's your name?" Carter asked.
"Isabelle."
"That's a beautiful name."
Carter and I didn't talk for a little while. So I slowly drifted off to sleep. I felt my head land on something soft, it was Carters arm. I sat up.
"Oh, sorry." I said.
"It's no problem."
I smiled at him, and he smiled back. I put my head back on his shoulder and fell asleep. I am absolutely shocked that Carter was okay with me sleeping on his shoulder. He woke me up when the plane landed.
"Hey, Isabelle. Wake up." He said. I woke up, and got my head off of his shoulder. He and I stood up. My foot was asleep. I started moving to get my luggage, but I limped instead.
"Are you okay??" Carter asked.
"Yes. I'm fine." I said with a chuckle. "My foots just asleep."
"Do you want me to carry your bags?" He asked.
"No. I'm good."
"Aw, common. I can help you."
"I don't need help."
He got pushed from a passenger who accidentally bumped him. He ended up almost in my arms.
"Uhh, sorry." He said.
I smiled.
"It's alright."
We both got our bags, and I met my family outside, because they got out before me.
"Well, it was really good getting to know you Isabelle." He said.
"It was good getting to know you too."
"I wish we had more time."
I started blushing. He wanted more time with me!! That was an ultimate score!!
"Well, we can figure something out." I said.
"How about..." He pulled out a piece of paper and wrote his number on it. "Here. Call me when you get to your house."
"Okay!!" I said with a smile. I walked away from Carter, and to my family.
"Hey mom, you know those amazing vine guys I absolutely love?" I asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"And you know Carter Reynolds right?"
"Obviously."
"I got his phone number!"
"Really?! That is-" Mom started to say something, but dad interrupted.
"Who? Carter better be a girl!"
"Daaaad!" I said.
We all started going out the airport.
"Wait." I said.
"What?" Mom asked.
"We can't go anywhere, we don't have a car."
"Shiiiii-" Dad trailed himself off, because there was an 8 year old with us.
"I'm pretty sure Carter can drive. Do you want me to call him?" I asked.
"I guess you could." Mom said.
I pulled out my phone and called Carter. He said he hasn't even left the airport yet, so he would be glad to.
"Yeah, he'll do it."
Carter came and picked us up. I sat in the front with him, and mom, dad and Luke sat in the back.
"Where to?" Carter asked.
Mom told him the address of our new house.
"Wait, really?" He asked.
"Yeah."
"That's right across the street from me." He said.
