*Flashback*

Andrew's POV

making my way downtown, walking fast, past the oddly charming teenage girls ;)

Grace wastes no time and charges up to me as I enter the school doors, exclaiming, "Hiii And-rooooo!"

Gros, I think to myself. I respond in a clipped tone, my eyes rolling when I notice the two other girls giggling. "I gotta go."

Lauren, the pale, petite blonde, walks over to us just as I'm about to make a clean break for it. "No! Don't go!! We made jelly sandwiches for you," she says quickly.

Muskaan, the girl with a wild animal spirit, immediately gags at the idea of a jelly sandwich. "Jelly sandwich?! Ew gross, more like helly sandwich!..." she says with a foul smirk.

No one responds.

Being slightly ticked, I walk away like I didn't hear a thing...but a part of me really wanted those jelly sandwiches. No! I can't think like that; those girls are trouble, a bad influence!...they're weird.

I turn the corner, entering the hall. Just when I think I've escaped them, I feel a light *tap tap* on my shoulder. I turn around and see Lauren.

"You forgot your jelly sandwiches! Haha, Muskaan was funny...helly sandwiches hahaha," she giggles, her oddly noticeable canines showing like they so often do.

I look down at the plate and see three perfectly cut shapes: a trident, a crown, and fire. I hesitate, not knowing if I should take them. How does she know I like jelly sandwiches? Why is Hell coming up so often? What kind of jelly is it? Grape? Strawberry? Raspberry? They look a bit toasted.. odd.

"It's grape jelly," she says with a wink as she walks down the hall.

I roll my eyes yet again. Why are these girls so weird? And why do they even talk to me? Don't they have other boys in their own class to go bother, geez.

I huff, walking to my first class of the day.

****
It's lunch now, and I'm eating my jelly sandwiches. They taste odd...hot? But that can't be - jelly sandwiches are meant to taste sweet, not hot. And why the frick frack do they look burned?

I start chowing down on the jelly sandwich that's shaped like a crown when a very perky face comes to sit beside me. "You're in my friend's seat." I lie, hoping she would move.

"What friends?" She laughs. It's not a mean laugh just a simple hurrah to compliment her own joke. I put my head down hoping to ignore her since she won't leave. But like every other attempt to rid myself of beautiful women, it fails miserably.

I could swear the femme fatale multiplies, and I am surrounded once more. Sigh.

"Are those what I think they are?" Muskaan asks, sitting down, disgust clear on her face. I take a large bite before nearing her face and munching on the deliciousness slowly. "That's gross, I can smell it," she says pushing me away.

Her loss.

"You should come to our soccer game today after school, Androoh," Grace tells me, batting her eyelashes oh-so-politely.

I take another bite.

"Oh yeah," Lauren chimes in. "Come watch us play!" I can't help but stare at her food as she takes it out of her Elvis Presley lunch box. The food is oddly healthy, not something I'd expect a teenage girl to pack. "You want some veggies?" She says noticing my lingering stare.

I shake my head, "Soccer's dumb. I'm not going."

"You're on the soccer team," Muskaan retorts.

"What I mean is girl soccer is dumb and boys' soccer is cool-" The words don't even finish coming out of mouth when Muskaan decides to flick my forehead with her finger. "Did you just thump me?" She responds with another thump, a small smile playing on her lips. "Don't thump me."

Lauren then takes that as her cue to start thumping me as well. Fed up, I pick up my sandwiches and get ready to scadattle. "I'm leaving," I tell them but just as I'm about to get up Muskaan pulls me back down.

"No, no, no don't go," she pleads.

I only stay because I have nowhere else to go. I could sit with my "friends" in my own class but those guys are weebs. "You're mean," I tell her.

"I never said otherwise," she shrugs. God, she's so irritating.

"So, anyway," Grace says moving so she can sit in the space between Muskaan and I. "If you come to the game we'll give you something."

My eyes grow wide. Whatever it is, I want nothing to do with it. I notice Muskaan and Lauren whispering to themselves behind Grace and I can't help but be the least bit curious. "Like what?"

"Come and you'll find out," she winks.

And just like that the three annoying-yet-beautiful girls disappear into thin air.
