hoseok was stressing, he was doing his last-minute preparations for his next underground dance battle that was going to take place in less than an hour. he threw on a pair of jeans and a thrasher hoody before finishing his outfit off with a pair of sneakers. he stopped before the full-length mirror to analyse his appearance, quickly brush through his dark brown hair with his fingers as comb a couple of times before walking out the front door while checking that his phone was securely in his pocket. he quickly skipped down the thirteen floors that led to the main entrance of the apartment complex.
he didn't realise until he had arrived outside the small venue that he had forgotten his medication that morning, but quickly discarded that fact as a friend of his walked up to him.
"hoseok-hyung!" a man some shorter than hoseok himself stopped before him with a wide smile.
"ya, mochi, you're here as well? doing a good job with attending everything i'm attending, aren't you?" hoseok joke while patting the younger's shoulder.
"you're attending almost every single battle there is though hyung, so it's difficult to find one that you haven't entered already." the younger noted with a shrug.
the two chuckled before walking into the venue for the dance battle, the small, dark room having a spotlight focused on the centre of the room. several people were already gathered around the spotlight, throwing their hands up in the air while yelling out to the people dancing in the middle. as they walked closer walking past some people to get a clearer of the two in the middle, hoseok was accidental and bumped into someone. something he would later regret.
