"Alyssa...don't start now. Just go, enjoy it, okay? You deserve this, baby, don't let me ruin it for you. Please. I stared longingly into my husband's eyes and sighed. I didn't want to leave him at home alone, really, I didn't, but the idea of a spa relaxation session was too enticing. We'd been planning it for weeks and neither of us wanted anything to get in the way of our alone time. I should have been more suspicious about Sean willingly giving up his place due to a cold, but I was naive and in love. I never wanted to question a word that left his lips.
