Masquerade Party Part 2

It's been a couple months since that party you had went to with your friends.

And it has been a couple months seen you hand seen Justin. He has texted you a couple times but he is busy. I mean he is Justin Timberlake after all.

You had just finished up your shift at work you were a secretary for the local law firm, and have been there for about two years.

Your phone started ringing as you were walking out of the firm, it was Rachel. The girl that had invited you to the party, which led to you meeting up with Justin again.

He has been in the back of your mind the past couple months, why would you be thinking about him, he was off being the famous singer and actor everyone has adored since he dropped out of high school to be in that boy band.

"Have you heard from him?" Rachel said breaking you out of your daydream

"No"

"I was talking to trace the other day, and he said that Justin was coming back to town on Thursday, and it's Thursday"

"I know, so"

"So we all can go out to dinner, I already asked trace and he said he was game and Justin would be too"

"We all know you want to do this because you like trace" she chuckled, you and everyone knew she has had a crush on him since high school and still hasn't done a thing to leave the friend zone

"I can tell you like Justin too"

"No I don't"

"Yes you do, trust me y/n I've been you're friend since the sixth grade"

You were silent not knowing what to really say, "so we have to meet them in an hour and a half at the bar and grill down on Main Street"

"Oh okay" you said putting you're car in reverse

"I'll meet you at you're house"

"Okay see you then" you hung up and drove yourself home

This was going to be one long night you thought as you drove home

You got home and found Rachel's car already in the driveway and she got out as soon as she saw you parking.

"Come on come on we don't have much time to get ready!" She grabbed your arm and you stumbled behind her to the front door where you unlocked it and she rushed you upstairs

"I'm just going to wear jeans and a nice shirt"

"Fine fine then I'm doing your makeup" she called from your closet

You got dressed in a pair of jeans and a plain grey shirt putting a flannel over it with you're favorite Nikes.

"You know we are complete opposites" Rachel said as she walked out of the closet

She had on a dress with some sandals, "I know, I don't like dressing up unlike you"

"That's why I never understood why you were the captain of our cheer squad"

"Because I had been doing gymnastics and dance since I was like 4"

"And you still do it, you should try to make a career, you could be famous, ask Justin if he could help you"

"No I'm fine with my job"

"You can't let all of you're talent go to waste" she said grabbing your hand and bringing you out of your room and out to her car

We both got in and she drove us off to the bar and grill to meet the boys.

She got out and you got out after her and she found Justin and trace waiting inside for a table. She walked over to the bar with you following her.

Justin and trace both got up to give you both a hug, you gave Trace a hug first and then Justin.

"I'm sorry about not texting you, I've been so busy" he said after you had broke the hug

"Don't worry about it! You're Justin Timberlake why would you have time to text little old me"

"Because Justin Timberlake wants to make up for what happened in high school"

They called you all over for your table and you all sat down and order drinks.

Justin leaned over and whispered, "when are they going to start dating, what has it been since high school?"

"Eight grade to be exact" he shook his head and looked across from you at Rachel and trace

The waiter comes over with our drinks, "is it date night?"

Justin laughed, "uh no were all just friends"

"Well you two would be cute together" she said pointing to you and Justin he looked at you and winked before ordering his meal

After dinner...

You all had a great meal and even order some dessert. Rachel and trace had disappeared somewhere and you and Justin were left sitting on the back of traces truck. You crossed your arms trying to keep warm.

Justin looked over at you, "you cold?" You nodded and he put his arm around you

"Better?"

"Yeah" you whispered, you could feel him staring at you and you looked up at him he was leaning in and you were too

He closed the gap between you two and placed his lips on yours. He put his free hand on your cheek and pulled you closer to him.

The kiss seems to last forever until you could hear footsteps and you break the kiss to see trace and Rachel holding hands. "Finally!!" You yelled at them and Justin nodded in agreement

"Whoa you too girl, you just kissed Justin Timberlake!!!" She yelled

You looked up at Justin and he looked down at you, "I think this is the best time to do this, y/n will you be my girlfriend?"

You nodded, "of course Justin" he leaned down and kissed you again and you could hear Rachel awing in the background

This wasn't such a bad night after all.
