Chapter 11

LUCAS'S POV:

"Dari, how are you? You look really good." I said looking him up and down

"Thank you. You look beautiful." He said and turned my head a little while I blushed

"Should we order and get a table." I was trying not to think about our past and what happened

"Ya let's get a table" I can tell he was calm about everything but I was freaking out

DARI'S POV:

Lucas and I ordered out food and we both got the same thing, Broccoli and cheddar soup.

"That was your favorite, I remember" I said slightly nudging his arm

"Ya" he said as he lightly chuckles and grabbed his arm. This entire time I couldn't help but think about our past. We sat down from across each other and he look so beautiful.

"So how have things been?" I asked taking a bite? Sip? Out of my soup.

"Things have been well, I had a boyfriend for a little and then I thought about you and I said 'let's give him a call' ya know?" A boyfriend? Am I just one of his rebounds? Or could this be a real thing or idk?

"So a boyfriend huh? Who was the lucky guy to put you on lock for a while?" I said trying to keep my head down because I felt a little embarrassed thinking I might have a chance.

"His name was Marcus and he was great but he had someone else in mind." He let out a long sigh after what he said and I couldn't help but feel bad.

"Well if it makes you feel better I wouldn't have been as dumb as him" I said reaching out and holding his arm. We finished our soup and I walked him to his house. We were walking home and we finally reached my street and it was starting to feel nice, like a really date. We couldn't stop laughing because we were having such a good time with each other. I didn't want our time to end but all good things must come to an end, right?

"Today was really fun." I said as we turned and looked at each other standing on my front porch.

"Ya, it was the most fun I've had in a while. I really enjoyed my time with you Dari." He said cracking a smile and the moonlight was hitting his eyes perfectly. The feeling was killing me on the inside but he looked so perfect standing there. I couldn't help myself so I went in for a kiss. I closed my eyes and pushed my head while tilting it to the right and my hand was placed on his cheek. I lips pressed together and Lucas started to kiss back and it was the best moment in the world. I was like falling in a never ending pit of perfection because that's exactly what this kiss was. And we finally pulled way and he put his hand on my chest as we stared into each other's eyes.

"Goodnight Dari." He said sinking and slowly drifting back into his house.

"Goodnight Lucas." I said slowly backing away. I put my hand over my heart and it was pumping like it was trying to jump out of my chest. I went home and I found a note on the table from my parents saying, "honey went on a business trip we'll be back in a month." I mean I know it sounds rude but thank god they are gone. I went to bed thinking about Lucas and the kiss and fell asleep with the biggest smile on my face.

MARCUS'S POV:
I can't lie and I miss Lucas a lot and the only reason we're broken up is because of Alex. So I decided to go over to his house and talk to him about what happened. So I got ready and headed off to his house. I got to the front door and knocked on the door and he answered the door.

"Alex, we need to talk." I said letting myself in the house and seeing his mom so I went upstairs to his room.
