Chapter 11

I decided not to describe through the whole pregnancy thing. It sort of drags on a bit.

As you remember: poppy, minty and morgan were all pregnant. Coincidentally, the all went into labour on the same day, same time.

    "You did so well babe." Chris said smiling at me

    "Thanks." I sighed and smiled, I did it

    "Where are they?" I asked

    Now you may be asking why I said they. I was referring to my two twins that I had just given birth to, one boy and one girl. I couldn't have asked for it better.

    I was fine and well so I got up and out of my bed and walked over to Poppy's room. She was in her hospital bed. She had slept for quite a while, but she was awake so I decided to walk in and go see her baby.

    Her face lit up when she saw me walk in and she smiled, beamed in fact. She sat up.

    "So. I want to introduce you to my children."

    "Wait. Children." I said, overjoyed

    "Yes, we would like to introduce you to Blaze Morgan Barnes, Brendon Gerard Barnes and Dan Phillip Barnes."

    Blaze struck my eye immediately, I could tell we were going to get along, seeing as she had my name. She was the smallest of the three and had he biggest smile. Brendon was happy as well and seemed to be intrigued with his feet and was rolling around, whereas Dan seemed to be thinking, I could tell he would be the troublemaker of the three.

    "There absolutely adorable!" I cried

    "Thanks." Both Bucky and Poppy smiled

    "Right I'm off to go meet Minty." I said and I got up and walked down two doors and arrived at Minty's room. She too was sitting upright on the hospital bed and she looked to be holding her baby.

    Minty and I had the same conversation, and she introduced me to her beautiful baby girl named tiger-lily, I loved the name, it sounded perfect for her. Tony seemed to be over the moon. So I left and went back to my room, waiting for my babies to come back.

    There was a problem in the birth as the little girl was less fortunate and we were told she might have a problem as it was common with twins as one is more likely to receive more nutrients and develop better.

    Then a doctor came in holding my two babies. They looked beautiful. The doctor smiled at me. He handed me the girl and Chris the boy. He looked at us and said "the girl as we said has been born with a disability. She is deaf. The boy is healthy, strong and perfectly fine. The girl's hearing problem will not be a difficulty, however we will organize weekly appointments to check up on her."

    I smiled at the little baby girl in my arms, I knew she was going to be a fighter, even though she couldn't hear me talking to her I knew she could somehow understand, seeing as she gurgled and smiled.

    Chris and I had a long discussion over the names. We had finally come to a conclusion my precious girl was to be called Elise Shawn Evans and the boy Jacob Wyatt Evans.

    Chris and I sat on the hospital bed together and held our two babies together and smiled.
