Katie knew she was not well-liked.

She also knew that it was largely her fault, if not entirely.

Katie was selfish, self-assured, self-absorbed and a lot of other things that mostly starts with the word 'self'.

Katie knew- knows because despite being a brat she was smart enough to figure out what was mainly the cause of her death.

Or, more specifically, her organized murder.

Katie Finnick was the only child of the entrepreneur couple, Jack and Sarah Finnick. She was left orphaned at the age of four when the pair died in a plane crash and was sent to live with her uncle, the older brother of her father, Timothy Finnick.

She grew up, rather predictably, spoilt rotten.

 With the large inheritance from her parents that was managed by Timothy- only until her eighteenth birthday- she more or less always gets what she wants.

Her death wasn't exactly rare but still rather uncommon.

Oh no, not the hit-and-run part.

The evil-uncle-who-wants-your-inheritance-so-paid-someone-to-off-you part.

Yes, that part.

Shame, really, only three more months left before her eighteen birthday.

Katie-or rather Luciana Bovino of the Bovino Famiglia was now apparently a female version of an anime character from a show she once squealed over.

Luciana Del Bovino was born in May 28, 2002, the heiress of the Bovino Famiglia, with dark curly -afro-like really-  hair, pale green eyes and pale skin with a small birth mark on her left cheek that resembles a hash tag.

Her parent's names are frankly of no importance to her as they died not that long after her death.

No use in remembering them, to think of the what-could-have-been's and end up tormenting herself.

So, with being an orphan again in this new life she knows she doesn't deserve, she was foisted off to her uncle again, the younger brother of her father this time, Marco Del Bovino for guardianship.

She was only four months old when her uncle shamelessly told her to her face that he plans to kill her somewhere in the near future to secure his eldest son's title as the Bovino heir.

Then promptly cooed at her when she laughed at the hilarity of him telling this to her, unknowing of her awareness and ability to recall this.

She was eight months old when she was labeled a genius even among the widely acknowledge famiglia of geniuses, and only a week after, one of the best hit man the Bovino famiglia has- which, honestly, wasn't really saying much- was instated as her personal helper, Isabella.
