Bad influence

Hayley's pov
Today's the day.
First day of high school.
9th grade.
I woke up showered and brushed my teeth, it was 5:00 AM, I had to be up early cause I had a couple of things to do.
I took a shower and when I got out I straightened my long curly hair.
My outfit today was high wasted jean shorts, maroon sweatshirt, and white converse.
I put on some mascara and eyeliner then brushed my teeth and I went downstairs. My mom handed me my plate of food and I ate it slowly.

I was excited but I also didn't want to really go to school.
Once I finished my food I put my plate in the sink. Annie was here visiting from college so she was taking me to school.
I waited for like an hour watching tv or going on my phone, AND making sure I looked good.
I felt my phone buzz and I looked at the screen to see a text from her.

From annie❤️; I'm here.

I left the text on read and I hugged my parents goodbye then ran out of the house. I got into her car and she drove me to school.

"Are you nervous?" She asked.

"A little" I said while sticking my phone in my pocket.

"Don't be. The teachers are super nice and it's not hard, it's really easy" she said and I nodded. She slowly pulled up in front of the school and I could see Alexa waiting for me by the doors.

"Thanks annie!" I said while hugging her and I got out. I ran over to Alexa and we hugged then walked in together pulling out our schedules. There was a huge line to the attendance office because kids didn't come last week where you got your locker and you got to get your schedule early.
Alexa and I came together so we already know where we are going.
We had most classes together which was cool, but what sucked was our lockers were not going to be close cause our last names are not close, but not too far. Possibly like 10 lockers down.
I got top locker cause I'm pretty tall. I'm 5'6, and I'm 14, but I think that is average height. Alexa is 5'5 and 14 also. I went to my locker and I grabbed my stuff for first period and I headed to class.
I sat in my seat which was next to Alexa and behind Ryan Katie's little brother who I've had a crush on for years, basically since I was 7.

He looked back at me and smiled which made me blush like crazy, but I don't know if he liked me or not.

"Hayley can't you believe it. High school! Time for parties!!" She said and put her hand up in the air for a high five.

"Alexa no. We are only freshman's" I said while pushing her hand down then the teacher finally came In.

-after class

I walked out of class and I saw my friend Madison. She was going to try out for volleyball with me this weekend on Sunday.

"How was your first period?" I asked as we turned the corner and walked to our next class.

"Amazing!" She screamed.

"You remember  Blake from last year?" She asked.

"Anderson?"

"Yes!" She said.
"He kept staring at me then he WINKED!" She screamed and we both stared laughing.

"Let's hurry or else we will be late on our first day" I said and she nodded.
