James heard a knock, so he rushed to open the door. When James opened the door, Micheal's eyes went wide. He then realized he was topless as he brought Michael inside. Micheal couldn't take his eyes off him, so he knew he looked good. Michael stood at the doorway, taking in the feel of the house. James told him to make himself at home while he put on a shirt. Michael decided to sit on the couch, motioning for James to sit with him. Micheal looked different. James had never seen him in anything but a suit. He liked Micheal in a hoodie and sweats better. He looked more relaxed & calm. James knew he wanted to ask Michael what his deal was, but something about that moment stopped him.
Michael stepped into James' house. It was a lot bigger then he had pictured. Michael noticed a couch, so he figured that's where the T.V was. He sat down, and motioned for James to join him. Michael had a feeling that James had been wanting to ask him questions. He had been thinking a lot about what happend. They didn't really know each other, & James seems the type that doesn't get asked out much. He probably thought Michael was trying to use him, but he didn't want to assume. When James joined Michael on the couch, he waited for James to ask him. Maybe James was afraid, because he didn't want to upset him. Michael had never been more wrong.
As much as James didn't want to ruin the moment, he knew now was the time. He decided to start up his X-box. James asked Michael what game he wanted to play. Michael said he was willing to play anything. He hadn't been able to game in years. He was just happy to have a controller in his hands. James decided to put on Halo. It was one of his favourites. Once they started their match, James asked Michael what his deal was. He didn't expect James to be so blunt. Michael asked if they could finish gaming first, so he could focus better on the conversation. James agreed. James realized that maybe he was over thinking. Maybe Michael didn't have an agenda after all.
Michael watched as James set up the X-Box. He knew he was going to get his ass kicked, but it wasn't about winning. It felt nice to be here with James. He missed having a connection that wasn't just business. All of a sudden, James asked what Michael's deal was. Michael wanted to give James an answer, but he was trying to focus on the game. He asked if they could talk about it, once they finished playing. James agreed, so they carried on playing for a while. They played for a few more hours, till they both decided they had had enough. Micheal then told James the reason why he had given him his number. Michael explained that he thought James was attractive, and Michael wanted to get to know him. He also told James that he was making some changes in his life, so it's hard to find time to meet people. James felt like an idiot, he knew he had been wrong. He flet bad for judging Michael. He was honestly a great guy.
Michael couldn't believe he had won the most rounds. He knew James couldn't believe it either. Guess he hadn't lost his touch. Michael knew James was waiting to talk. They had been gaming for a few hours, it was time for a break. James turned off the X-Box, then asked Michael what his deal was. Michael wasn't expecting the tone. He thought James was going to be more suttle. Micheal told James that he had thought James was attractive. There was just something about him. He could tell James was uneasy, by the look on his face. He knew James was trying to figure out what he meant. Micheal told James that he felt a connection the moment their eyes met. He felt a deeper connection with James, and that's never happened before. He could tell James felt like an idiot. Michael had been right, James thought he was being played. James seemed more relaxed after the talk. James sat closer to Michael, so Michael put his arm around him. He could feel the tention growing between them.
