*Tuesday*
"Daniel wait on me!" I said. He nodded his head and sat on the bench. I ran over to my friends. "Guys im not going to the dance, ill see you later though"
"Wait what about us?" Roc asked
"US?! Now you want to question us?!" I laughed "Go with Kaila "
"Fine then I will!" He semi yelled. I rolled my eyes and walked off.
Later on 7:00
My sister will be home around 7:30. Right now its just Daniel and I eating ice cream watching Madea Movies. My mom is out with her friends she'll be home around 3:00am. It wasnt easy getting her to go out though. She needed a break. A break from me and Marra and work.
"Hey are you cold?" Daniel asked
"Y-yeah" I said. He pulled me close and held me. For some reason I felt safe and secure. I didnt want him to let go. We fell asleep on the couch when I woke up my sister, Princeton, Prod, Jada, and roc with Kaila was standing around the room.
"Well hello there" I said as I got up which caused Daniel to get up.
"Hi little miss missy!" Princeton said
"Hey now Princess don't start!" I teased
"Nya?" Roc said he looked at me then towards the stairs. I sighed of annoyance but followed him anyways.
"What is wrong with you?"
"Whats wrong with me are you really asking that?!" I said as I laughed "I should be asking you this. I came over to see you and you were with her in your room touching each other flirting and shit" I snapped
"You and diggy?" He questioned
"Me and Daniel haven't did shit! Well im not going to lie he did hold me. But why did he do that? Cause I was cold and you was nowhere to be found!" I snapped
"Nya stop okay just calm down. Im sorry." He said as he held me with hus chin resting on top of my head. "Forever Im yours No one elses. Forever Ill love you no one else." He kissed my forehead. We went back down stairs and we all hung out for the night. Daniel kept his distance he was acting weird.
A month later Summer Break!
There has been so many ups and downs with me and Roc lately it hurts so badly. We never had fights until Kaila showed up. Diggy and I are closer now. He tried dating Kaila but she hurt him by messing with ROC! Diggy said he wasn't hurt he was just trying to get her away from roc but it didn't work. Ever since that night when me and diggy fell asleep eaying ice cream in each others arms it has been drama. Roc stays close when im around D and it pisses me off. Im finally 13 so is Marra and the rest of my friends except D hes 14.
"Yeah I want to start a music career" Diggy said as we walked "the boys do too" I had a feeling he was talking about Roc and them. I got so mad like wtf they didn't tell me but I cant look stupid. I have to make it like I knew!
"Yeah I heard, there trying so hard. Im proud." I said
"Nya why do you waste your time with him?" He asked. I knew he meant Roc I stayed quite. He stopped me and lifted my chin up. "Why?"
"First love. Its hard okay I dont know. I have this feeling if I finally end us ill want to give up and stay single cause of the hurt hes cause. Im 13 years old and already heartbroken."I explained
"Why cant I help. Help you. Fix the broken pieces" he whispered as he looked into my eyes.
"Once broken always broken" I said trying to fight back the tears. I lost the battle and they fell anyway. The thought of leaving Roc hurts me. The fact that Daniel likes me and I really like him but cant be with him hurts.
"Don't cry" he whispered. He whipped my tears away with his thumb. "Your too beautiful to cry" I smiled. He grabbed my hand and we continued to walk. Out of nowhere roc showed up. He grabbed Diggy and started hitting him. Diggy isnt a fighter but after about four punches he couldn't take it anymore he fought back.
"STOP. NOOOOOO STOP. GET OFF OF HIM. GUYS QUIT." I Screamed as I cried. The gang came running outside. Princeton Prod Jacob and Ray pulled them apart. "I hate you. I hate you both" was my final words and I ran off. I didn't know where I was going I just kept running. My heart was beating too fast. I coild barely breathe. I tripped and fell and rolled down this hill.
Diggy's Pov
Nya said she hated me. That hurt so bad. No one has EVER said that to me. But I deserved it I should have walked away from roc. I went home and took a shower. When I got out and got dressed I called Nya 10 times and left 12 txt messages.
"Whats wrong with you?" Russy asked
"Nothing" I said. The door bell rung. "Get the door"
"Ahhhhhhhh" Russy screamed. I ran to the front door and saw Nya there. She was a mess. I led her upstairs.
"Nya im sorry" I said as I got her bath water ready.
"Its okay. You were defending yourself." She said. I turned my head to let her in the water. I turned back around she was covered in bubbles i couldn't see nothing but her shoulders and her face (head)
"You want me to walk you home in a bit?" I asked
"O-only if you come with" she said as she played with her rag.
"Sure ill come" I answered. She got out out and got dressed and we went over to her place its summer break so its all good.
Nya's POV
"Hey Sis you okay?" Marra and Princeton asked.
"Yeah im fine. Where's mom?" I asked
"She left again" She said as she looked down. Princeton came from the kitchen.
"Sissy!!!" He semi yelled
"Hey Princess!!!" I hugged him
"Hey Daniel" he said as they gave dapp
"Well we are going up stairs" I took Ds hand and ran upstairs. We crawled into my bed and watched TV.
"Spit something!" I said. He thought for a moment and looked into my eyes.
"I love it when you holdin me, I love it when ya close to me Baby you got my heart playin like Pittsburg don't you know believe So you should drop your man cause me and you are just meant to be Evendentily cause I think yes put the strength in me To let you know the truth I'm always thinking bout you Every time you come around you make me feel brand new" He finished. I was out of it speechless zoned out. All I could do was kiss him. He pulled me in closer and slid his tongue on my lips for an entry. I approved and he went in. It was getting a little heated and thats when we stopped.
"Thanks for everything. I like you alot. But if me and roc are really through im still not ready to date someone else." I said
"As long as I grt to see that pretty smile, hear that cute laugh, hold you, and kiss you once in a while im okay" he said. I smiled in agreement and fell asleep in his arms.
