A/N: Ah. It took me forever to finally encode. Their reunion after two years inspired me to write this. I didn't follow the series religiously until their reunion happened. So please, take this as it is. :)

Not like this.
There were several scenarios in his head on how his reunion with Sinag will be but nothing came close to this reality.
Frozen.
That's how it happened. He can only look into her eyes as he feels everything around them come into a freeze. He stopped breathing and his heart ceased beating. He could not even move his eyes for all he can see is hers. He can barely feel the glittering shoe in his hand. He can't seem to move a single muscle of his body.
He was anxious, he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to see her here, like this, dressed to the nines and chandeliers hanging above their heads. It was supposed to be a magical night but he was sure that for the girl in front of her, nothing is quite magical in meeting him again.
He tried to recall how he felt upon hearing DJ Sunshine's voice on the radio earlier. How did he really feel? Did he reminisce of their time together in Pelangi? Did he wish to hear her voice personally, not over the airwaves?
He stares at her, voice caught in his throat, not being able to make a sound. He should say something. But what exactly?
Should he apologize for hurting her, for taking away everything that has been important to her - her home, her trust, her heart?
But did he really have it?
He needs closure. He coaches himself once again. It was a mantra he had to repeat to himself. Kind of like how he tells himself in the mirror every morning that he has the girl of his dreams, the girl he claims to love.
"Sinag?" , he says. His throat still dry. He still looks into her eyes, all the feelings in the world coming to rush in his being.
"Benjie?" her voice jumpstarts everything into motion. He can finally hear the music, feel the people around them moving. He can feel his heart beating rapidly as if sending out a message to him in code. It was as if his heart recognizes her presence. And as his eyes take her in, he understood the message.
'Here we are, Benjie. We're finally home.'
