The next morning rose and Mrs Lee was already out of the Orphanage. The police ordered her to go to the police station early in the morning and so Mrs Lee followed the command. I took Tanya down to get her breakfast then we both went up to our bedrooms and met again the the middle if the staircase with our suitcases.

"You ready?" I asked Tanya whilst tightly gripping her hand.

"I was born ready!" She courageously answered.

We walked out of the orphanage: not forgetting to lock the door behind us. Tree waved past us, droplets of rain fell onto us, whined whistled at us. We ran, ran through the forest, through the streets, past the rivers. We stopped though. At night we stopped.

Our courage had fled. We were brave no more. I told her we should do this. But I was wrong. Very wrong. What we are doing now...for what reason? The benefit it has? Nothing. The impact it will have on the orphanage and the society? We need to think about this. We need to go back. Running away from there is like commuting a sin. It will cause us harm and everyone else harm too.

"Stop! Timmy why? Dont do this. You know this is the best for us! The benefits? The benefits are fairly simple! It will make everyone free from the threats they are, receiving from dad." Tanya shouted out loud.

We both cried for a while 'til I finally stop mourning over the fact and explained everything clearly to Tanya.

"What if that wasn't dad? It could have been someone else. We never know. Even if it was, what if he wants us back so he can harm us again?" I whispered slowly into Tanya ears; I held her tightly near me and gave her a warm hug.

"But Timmy, w...w..what do you mean? Dad would never harm us...he loves us. Has he done it before? Why did you say again?" Tanya stuttered at me and pushed the questions onto me.

I didnt want to answer her. I didn't want her to know this but I guess she will now. But why. Why dies she have to find out?

"T...T....Ta..Tanya... I," I stuttered out before crying.

"I'm sorry!! I didn't want to you to know about this but I guess that you will have to find out now. Dad.... H... He used to harm me. Him and mum uses to have fights because they didnt want to, look after me. They argued all day over who should look after me. Until one day where I got really upset and mad that I ran away. I didn't want to be with them anymore. I thought that was the right thing to do. I was only 7 but if they didn't love me, then I guess they wouldn't have went to look for me. But at least 3 hours later dad found me. He yelled at me and told me that if I ever did this again there will be trouble. I ignored him. They kept fighting and I couldn't stand it no more. I ran. I ran far far away. But no matter how far I got, dad found me. He found me and abused me. So did mum. They both did. I didn't say anything. I got in the car thinking that we were going home. But no rather they left me on the step of an orphanage and rang the doorbell then left. Mrs Lee opens the door and got me in. She cared for me and everything. She was like a mother to me. When she showed me my room I gave her a chuckle but ince she left, I sat in the corner and cried. I couldn't believe that dad and mum could do this to me. I didn't know that they could stoop this low. But they did. And so from that day onwards, I never got in contact with them again. Until yesterday." I recalled to Tanya.

Tanya never said anything for the first few minutes. But rather sat there in awe. I asked her if she was okay but I got not response.

A few moments later, she commanded that we weren't going back. I explained to her that we won't have anywhere to say but she just didn't listen.

I remember that Tanya usually sleeps by mum. They would sleep next to each other and mum would always read stories to them. I read her a story. A sad story but it reminded her of all the fun times we had together.

"...and then we would Look back down again at each other and smile. You sat there cuddled in my arms." I re told to Tanya.

I looked down at her and noticed that she was curled up like a ball sleeping yet shivering. I removed my jumper and wrapped it around her. She's my baby sister and I will do anything for her. No one can harm her when I'm there.

"Goodnight baby sis." I whispered into her small ears.

We stayed near the rivers in a boat and slept there. The night time sky was beautiful. The bright moon brightens up the dark sky and had sparkles around it that formed beautiful glittery starts. I looked up at remembered about the beautiful memories and fell fast asleep.
