Pt. 1

It was two days before the big day. You had decided to have a little dinner for the band before they left for their third world tour. Everyone was at your boyfriend Logan's house. It was Kendall, James, Carlos, Dustin and, of course, Logan. You made something everyone would like : salad, mac&cheese, hamburgers and corn on the cob. You tried to make as much of it organic as possible for Kendall but he kindly ate everything regardless. As you were finishing the mac&cheese the boys started to talk more about the tour and how excited they were. Logan had been silent practically all evening with his face buried in his phone. The other guys and you had noticed but hadn't said anything. James decided to do something about. He motioned for everyone to be quiet. "So Logan, what do you think if we brought Briana on the road as our personal chef?" James asked. Logan didn't even look up, he just mumbled absentmindedly "M-hm." James rolled his eyes. "Can we all marry her?" James asked, trying to see if that would get Logan's attention. Again, Logan just mumbled "M-hm." Kendall had had enough. "Get off your damn phone, man. We're trying to have a nice dinner." Logan glared at everyone but put his phone in his pocket. "Thank you." Kendall said slightly sarcastically. Conversation was stiff after that and everyone left soon after dinner was over. You gave some of the guys leftovers that they wanted. As you said goodbye, you noticed that Logan had his phone back out and was basically ignoring everyone. You sighed sadly and James saw you looking at Logan. "I'll give you a ride home." James said to you. "Thanks." You replied, forcing a smile. You cleaned up with a little help from James after everyone else had left. Once you were finished you tried to say good bye to Logan but he pretty much ignored you. As James drove you home he apologized. "I'm sorry Logan is acting so weird; I don't know what his problem is but hopefully it'll end soon. Did you guys have a fight or something?" "No, not at least one I remember. He started acting kind of weird after you guys announced you tour. Maybe he's just stressed or something." You replied. "I don't think that's stress; I've seen him stressed and that's not how he reacts to it. I just wish I knew what was going on so I could help him or support him or do whatever he needs." James sighed. He turned to you. "I just don't want him to hurt you." You looked into James' eyes. He had been like your older brother ever since Logan introduced you two. He was like you protector. "Thanks." You said. James pulled into your townhouse and walked you to the front door. "Thanks for driving me." You said. "No problem. Thank you for the fabulous dinner." James hugged you. "Good night." He said. "Good night." You replied, opening your door.

Pt. 2

Two days later you drove to the parking lot where the guys were going to leave from. You were saying goodbye to Logan when you noticed that he wasn't looking *at* you, he was looking *around* you as if you were in his way. You turned around and saw he was staring at Victoria Justice who was the opening act for most of the tour. You sighed and continued talking hoping that Logan was at least listening to you. "I'll miss you." You said. Logan didn't even nod or mumble anything this time. You finally reached your patience limit. You folded your arms and glared at him. "Logan!" You snapped. "What?" He said focussing on you. "Why can't you even say goodbye to me? You're too busy watching Victoria." You said angrily. "No, I'm not." He replied defensively. "Really? What was the last thing I said to you?" You asked. "Um, that - I - uh..." Logan stuttered. "Exactly. Why have you been acting so weird? Did I do something?" You asked, changing from mad to upset and concerned. "No, no. I just - I guess I'm worried about the tour and whatnot." Logan said sounding sincere. You nodded. "I'm sorry I snapped at you. I'm just worried about you." You apologized. "I'm fine." Logan smiled. "I'll miss you." You repeated. Logan hugged you and gave you a quick half-hearted kiss. "Miss you, too." Then he ran off, following Victoria onto the bus, watching her intently climb the bus steps. James was the last one to say goodbye to you. "I'll keep an eye on him." James promised, hugging you. "I just don't know what I did wrong." You said sadly. "I don't think it's anything you've done." James assured you. You shrugged. "I just wish I knew what was going on in his head right now. He was basically watching Victoria ever since we got here." You said. James gave you another hug and kiss on the forehead. "It'll be ok, Bri. I'll keep him on his best behavior." James winked, trying to add some levity. "Goodbye, James." You said walking to your car. "Bye, Bri." James said grabbing some stuff to put on the tour bus.
