We made our way through the streets and walked for about 10 minutes but it felt like hours. We reached an empty area that I identified as a parking lot. They settled down under the light spot and invited me to sit with them. I could now see the look Jack was giving me, but instead of doing the same, I just grinned at him. He seemed confused and quickly looked away. I hadn't noticed how the bunch of us formed a circle. We looked like lost teenagers trying to persuade themselves they were different. A blonde haired girl, who was stunning but didn't seem down to earth, screamed out of nowhere :
"Light it already Tim!"
"Why are you always so impatient, you need to learn how to enjoy the beauty of things life offers." This 'Tim' answered.
The more they talked, the less I understood what was going on. Last thing I remember is accepting what I though was a cigarette. From then, nothing remained clear. I knew I got back home with Tessa but I didn't know when, neither how I came back to the party. I've heard that Jack and I were the only ones who finished the night in that house because all his friends left us on the parking lot. I concluded that Jack was chosen to lead me back since he was the only one who actually knew my name. I had no concrete idea of what really happened though.

I woke up the next morning, and I unexpectedly felt amazing. I couldn't remember a thing about last night, but I felt calm and for once in my life time, I wasn't tired. I got down to my empty kitchen where my mum had left a note that said :
"Alexy, you know where the food is. I'll be back by 4pm and Chris should be there earlier. An unknown number called, a young boy said he wanted to talk to you. He said he'd call back later on. Love, mummy"
Who would call on my house phone with an unknown number? I don't even usually give this number since I have a mobile. It was 11am and I didn't know anybody of my age who wakes up earlier on a Saturday. I couldn't think any longer because the ringing of the phone suddenly came on. I wasn't sure if I should answer or not, but I still did. It could have been important.
"Hello?" I shyly said.
"Alexy? Are you okay?" The voice asked.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine but who are you?"
"Okay that's good then. You don't need to know who I am. Just promise me you won't tell anybody about what happened last night."
"It makes no sense. I don't even know what happened last night. It seems like you do, so could you possibly remind me about it?"
I heard a long sigh and waited a few seconds before asking again. That was when the boy finally said :
"Well Alexy, it's Jack. Are you sure you don't remember anything?"
"Jack? How? And of course I'm sure, other wise I wouldn't tell you so. How comes you've got my number?"
"You ask way to many questions. Just meet me later today. I have things to explain to you. Don't assume we're friends though."
"I never assumed so and neither wished that."
"Anyway, let's say 3pm at the mall. You better be there."
"Don't be.... Late"
He didn't even leave me enough time to finish my sentence and hang up. I'd never been so confused before. I had so many questions that had to be answered, yet he wouldn't tell me a thing. I looked up at the clock, 11:07. I had 4hours left, so I decided I'd just watch TV and do my stuff. I would wait for Chris to have lunch and then get ready to meet Jack. I never ever thought I'd await meeting him, I actually never imagined I would talk to him. I was upset about that, but it somehow pleased me
