My Promise

I quietly walked to my school still thinking about what happened yesterday, I couldn't even sleep properly. I mean... the world can change within few seconds, especially when it comes to me god becomes very rude...I know that it's not 'his' fault that my parents passed away but...still...I don't know why....I..I just...hate him. 

"oi! rinny-chan~!" Miku yelled and jumped on me.

"Geez! Miku get off me!" I said trying to free myself from her death hug.

"uwah! you're so meaaan~!" she said crying like a baby.

"*sigh* hai, hai gomen~"  I said patting her head and she went back to her usual self. she kept on talking about her date with Kaito-sempai till we reached the school but I didn't pay any attention to them as I was still thinking about yesterday.

'maybe I'm thinking too much...'

"Rinny-chan~! are you listening?" Miku said bringing her face close to mine.

"huh...oh yes I'm listening..." I said realizing that we were in the class already.

"hmm...Rinny-chan is something wrong?" she asked holding my hands tightly.

"Miku you're best friend... so I'm not gonna lie to you..." I said looking down.

That's right no matter what happened she was always there for me. I'll just say everything to her. And so, I explained everything to her.

"I see...but don't think about it too much Rinny, I'm always here for you" she said with a warm smile.

"what are my juniors doing?" akiko-sempai said as she patted on our back.

"Akiko-sempai! good morning" Miku said with a bright smile.

"oh my, look Akira who was afraid of us until yesterday is now smiling at me!" Akiko-sempai said hugging miku.

"actually...I told her about what happened yesterday...sorry" I said looking away.

"It's fine! it was quiet a shock for you, right?" Akira-sempai said patting my head gently.

"That's right! you should share things with others to make your heart feel lighter!" Akiko-sempai added.

"Thanks..." I said with a smile and as soon as I smiled all three of them jumped on me saying "kawaiiii!!!" oh great, now I have three mikus who will jump on me when I smile or do something 'cute'.

"um.. where are the other 3?" Miku asked looking at them.

"other 3?"  both of them said as they looked at each other with a plain face before yelling "oh crap! we completely forgot! we have a meeting, bye for now!" and with that they rushed out of the room.

me and miku looked at each other for a while before we bursted into laughter and that's when the teacher entered the room and everyone took their seats.

Lunch Time

"hey! let's go to the canteen!" said Miku with bright big eyes.

"'kay..." I said and followed her on our way to canteen Miku just continued to read some silly jokes from her mobile and laughing while I was just walking quietly. Noticing my silence she stopped for a minute and said "Are you still thinking about 'that' thing, Rinny-chan?" 

"yea..." I said looking down as I didn't want her to  see my sad face.

"Don't think about it too much, okay?" she said gently patting my back, I just nodded in reply.

As we continued to walk talking about some random stuff I accidentally bumped into someone I looked up to see who it was but I shouldn't have done that I felt a sharp pain in my heart as soon as I saw that person's face.

Yes, it was Len Kagamine. 

"Are you okay?" he said with a concerned look reaching out his arms towards me.

'what should I do?...maybe I should just jerk it off...no! that's very rude!'

As I was about to take his miku jumped infront of me and stomped on his hands.

I just got up on my own and dusted off my skirt.

"What was that for?!" he asked rubbing his hand miku had just stepped on.

"Ha?! It's yur fault  that you bumped into rinny-chan!" Miku yelled with an angry face.

he said nothing and walked away until miku said something she shouldn't have said.

"Hey! come back here and apologize properly! didn't your parent's teach you manners?!" he stopped for a minute after listening what Miku said.

Before he could say anything I yelled at Miku " Miku! you're not supposed to talk about someone's parents like that!" dragging her out of there.

We continued to walk till we reached the library, I sat down on one of the chairs with a huge sigh "Rinny-chan...gomen" she said sitting beside me. 

"I'm not mad at you miku..."I said patting her head with a smile. 

"Ne, Rinny-chan don't you think we should ask about this to our sempais?" she said keeping her head on my shoulder.

"Nah, I don't think so...and I exactly know what I gotta do." I said playing with her hairs.

"what?" she asked "avoid him." I said still playing with her hairs. she knew that I will not listen to her once I made a decision so she kept quiet. 

Soon the bell rang and we went back to the classroom talking normally as if nothing happened.

'to be honest...I think that I still have some feelings for him but I can't let it out because of my promise...'
