I thought about it. I don't know who I was or what I was doing, but nobody ever found out. Jeff isn't back, which I began to be fond of. I mean, who needs a asshole who made their life worse back when I still had a decent life? How could I ever think that we could get past our history? I'm not sorry. I've never been sorry for what I've done. I sincerely hope he's dead.

I walked out of my room. The people down the hallway gave me weird looks. I saw the kid I knocked down earlier. He looked at me up and down. He looked les terrified, but still hesitant.

"Progress," he says reminding me. I nodded and walk past him. I went to the living room where almost everyone was crowded around something. Or someone. I heard loud yelling and arguing. I push my way inside the circle to see a unconscious body. Everyone was laughing  or yelling at the ones who were laughing. I squeeze my way into the center. I turned the boy over. I saw him. That face of infamous terrors. It was Jeff. I back up a little bit.

"We found him surrounded by the cops," Toby explained. Dumbass.

"Then why is he injured?" I ask trying not to sound like care. Everyone looked at me weirdly.

"Why'd you care?" Masky asked.

"It's just a fucking question," I defended.

"Long story," Toby sighed. I rolled my eyes. Yeah, okay. Jeff groaned and opened his eyes.

"Randy, you asshole," he mumbled. He sat up and rubbed his head. He glared at me.

"Why is Randy still here? Didn't his progress fail without me here?" Jeff said as he flipped his hair back.

"No, I didn't need you," I shot back. He got off the floor, and pushed me back. He reminded me of my daily abuse back at home.

"I'm the reason you're still alive," he snapped. I pushed him back, only much harder.

"You're the reason? Oh, please," I say sarcastically.

"Yeah, I am. Why do you think nobody ever dared to come near you?" He spat.

"Why do you even care!" I yell. He was about to open his mouth to say something but the boss appeared out of nowhere. Great the octopus fucker is back, I thought.

"Its slender man. Never use my name in vain, again. Jeffrey, you're back. Never get caught again, or you'll put us all in danger. Keep quiet, though, I'm in my study," he says as his voice rings through the whole mansion. Jeff and I nodded quickly. He was then gone the second I blinked.

We walked to our room without noise. No fighting. It felt odd.

"You didn't answer my question," I say opening the door. Jeff chuckled a little sitting down on the bed, as I sat on the floor giving him space.

"I didn't need to."
