I headed towards town, which took longer than I thought it would. When I arrived in town, I saw multiple stores lined up with each other with little space in between. It looked like your casual small town, and I started walking along the stores on the sidewalk with my headphones plugged in, listening to music. I had about fifty bucks with me and was trying to find something cute to buy for myself.
I kept looking out for an item to catch my eye when I suddenly two pairs of hands pushing me unto a dark alley way. My headphones fell off when I crashed on the concrete sidewalk. I looked up to see three guys smirking down at me.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in." said who I'm guessing is the 'leader' of the three. "A little pretty lady.", said the guy to his left. Beyond this point, I was already scared out of my mind. One of the guys forced me up by my hair and pushed me against a brick wall, but fortunately for me, my mom made me take a self defense class during high school, who I do thank for now, but me being the unlucky person I'm now, I only went to skip algebra class and didn't pay attention at all.
The only thing I could think about in that moment was to push him and run, but that fail in a few seconds. They caught me and threw me down again, I covered my face with my arm expecting the worse to come. Nothing. With curiosity, I uncovered my face and looked up to see.
"Juan!"
