The doctors had to decide weather or not to waste a heart on somebody not in need of it. Finally, they decided.

Doctors: huh?
Me: you know about his heart.......
Doctors: oh yes..... you see, we only have so many hearts...... and we have a lot of children in need of a heart... the children who need it , will be given it because the new heart will last them hopefully years......and...your son....... won't be done good with a heart......
Me: and...
Doctors: we are canceling the transplant.
