Plot: Kara Vanderbilt I the only daughter of Kyle and Vanessa Vanderbilt, the Alpha and Luna of the Moon Shadow pack. Kara has a younger brother, Jason. Her best friend is Jessica Korano, the daughter of the packs beta. Jokingly, Jessica asked Kara, "What if the Alpha of the Lunar Shade pack was your mate?" Kara replied, "No way in hell! Never!" How wrong she turned out to be.
