Chapter 7: Inside Day

(Y/N)'s POV

I sat on the bench with an ice pack on my head that Alia gave me as she and Cory talked. She was wearing her long, brown hair up, a grey tank top, black shorts, a black hoodie wrapped around her waist, and black and white sneakers. She adjusted her glasses on her face and continued to talk with Cory. I felt a sudden wave of anger wash over me and I was clenching my hand into a fist underneath the picnic table as Cory exchanged phone numbers with each other.

"Bye Cory, (Y/N), it was nice to meet you!" She smiled as she walked away with her basketball.

Before she left, she looked at me and I gave her a cold glare. My (E/C) eyes piercing her dark brown ones. As she left, Cory came up to me and rested his hand on my shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Cory asked. I snapped my head towards him, but slowly relaxed.

I sighed and said, "Just a headache... can we go back now, please?"

Cory nodded as I got up and tried to help him pack, but he refused, saying that I should just take it slow. I sighed as I walked over to Cory's car and  opened the passengers side and sat there, waiting for him. When Cory finished putting the last of our stuff in the back, he sat in the drivers seat and turned on the car, driving back to our apartments. The car ride was mostly silent, because my head was pounding.

When we got back, Cory turned to me and asked, "Hey, you wanna hang out in my house for the rest of the day?"

I nodded as I got out of the car and opened the trunk, taking some of the stuff. Cory got out and took the rest of his stuff and closed the back and locking his car. He walked over to his door and opened it, walking inside. I followed him and I saw him put the stuff on a table, so I put the rest of the stuff there and followed him to the living room. I sat on the couch and Cory sat next to me.

"Wanna watch something? It's only 5:00, do you want to watch a movie?" I asked Cory, looking up at him.

"Sure! I'll make popcorn-- I promise I won't burn it! Just pick out a movie!" Cory said, running into the kitchen and taking out a popcorn bag.

I chuckled as I got up and went to his movie rack and looked through his movies. He had a lot of spy and action movies, but he also had some animated movies, like Minions and Howl's Moving Castle. I decided to pick a scary movie, (F/S/M). I didn't really watch scary movies that often, but I was willing to give it a try. I took the movie and put it into the DVD player, took the remote, and sat down and waiting for Cory.

Cory came back with a bowl full of popcorn and turned off the lights before he sat next to me, putting the bowl on the coffee table in front of us. I pressed play and we both started to watch the movie.

--TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BUY.... SOMETHING!--

Cory's POV (Oooooh! New perspective!)

I as I watched the movie, a jump scare happened and I felt (N/N) jump a bit and hugged me, burying her face into my chest. I chuckled as I glanced down at her, blushing slightly. I put my arm around her and continued watching the movie. (N/N) slowly looked back up and continued to watch with me.

As the movie ended, I felt (N/N) lay her head on my shoulder and relax. I looked at her and noticed that she fell asleep. I glanced at my phone and saw that the movie was four hours long! It was already 9:15. I put my phone away and sighed. I didn't want to wake up (N/N), so I stayed and held her close, closing my eyes. I felt Sam jump on the couch and lay next to me, but I didn't care. I smiled as I fell asleep, cuddling my crush.
